We are only about a mile from the fireworks here in town and Peoria does theirs on the river about 2 miles away, both of those are yet to come.:rolleyes:
In our neighborhood some fire off just about as big and as loud of a show and then they shoot off strays:( some as late as midnight, wakes me up:mad:

I'm conflicted which one do I choose Like or Wow or Sad cuz your poor doggie, Like cuz you had a great time with family or Wow cuz of being so close to the fireworks. Hmmm, this one is definitely a Dilemma. Lol, when Emma would get her ball stuck somewhere, always said Emma has a Dilemma. Ok, just a wonderful memory....back on track. Hope your doggie made it through and so glad you give her the hemp and melatonin.

Edit...I know I know....went with Like cuz there are Two things I Like....You having a great time and giving your doggie the 'meds' :)

We had our annual 4th party on Sunday, my adult kids and my 5 grandkids, my son dates a lady with 4 kids, and she brought her friends with kids and I invited Clif's brother who brought the drinks, more friends of my son's showed up too. Food and fireworks, fun even through all the drizzly rain. Today is in the upper 80's and humid, glad the party wasn't today!
I hope you and Jean are enjoying your 4th!

Sounds like a great time;), it was way to hot and humid here to do anything and be able to enjoy it.
Tonight they will do the fireworks at the river not far away so we usually sit in the yard and watch them but nasty hot here again today :(
Thank you my friend:hug: we're tryin to just to hot to do anything outside right now Temp is 91 but dew point is 70% so it feels a lot hotter and muggy:facepalm:

Been goin around the yard pickin up old burnt bottle rockets and other fireworks leftovers, they were at it till 11:30 last night:rolleyes:

I didn't see any in my yard, but they were going crazy until midnight. My poor dog... :(
