Imo, a Creme de Menthe flavor is hard to get right. Then, when you think you have it right, a week goes by and suddenly it's not right again.

I've tried FW and Flv Creme de Menthe. If you find one that holds up well, please let me know. I have a Butter Mint Milkshake recipe that I'd love to mix up.

Those are the two that I have right now. For this first attempt at it, I used the FLV @ 0.75% as well as 0.50% TPA Peppermint which seems to me to be a little too much mint.

316VAPES posted an After Eight/Andes MilkShake recipe over at ELR last week which uses the FLV and VTA CdM together.

Suggestion: Give your mix a few weeks before you decide to reduce the amount of mint flavorings that you used. Both of those flavors fade. You could end up barely tasting the mint a couple of weeks down the road. That's why I was complaining, because over time the mint just disappeared, almost completely.

I've used TFA Peppermint for a long time, and just became used to the idea that I have to add a few drops of flavoring every week or two to those mixes.

I'll try VTA CdM if I can find it. Thanks!

Thank you for the tip about fading!
It's at about a four month steep now. I'll probably totally rewrite this recipe if I pursue it further.
