The Old Showroom Trick (What does this have to do with vape products?)

I saw a chair in a showroom and said this is the one I want. It was out of stock so I waited a month. When I picked it up it was a piece of shit along with the other stockroom pieces. I said, "I paid for the chair that I saw in your showroom and that's the one I want". "Oh no, we can't do that" they said. I said, "Yes, you will". And they did - eventually. Afterwards, the salesperson told me that she always buys from the clearance room because it's cheaper and it's all the showroom pieces which are the best.

I'm thinking this: When our favorite vape reviewers show us their stuff on youtube they probably have, in their hands, the "showroom pieces" from the vendors and manufacturers. I say, yeah, that's what I want. I buy it and it's crap. I've purchased 2 iclear 30Bs and an Aspire Nautilus, all with authentication codes, and they all came with defects.

Anybody out there thinking like I am or have any comments, similar experiences?

This is why I watch reviews on clones… That the reviewer PURCHASED.. Haven't been let down yet.

I watch the other reviews too… Just don't buy those products that were "given" to the reviewer.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. Can you make some suggestions on clone reviewers? Also, is it ok on this site to recommend reputable vendors? I've been using two for my hardware and they seem pretty responsible but with all this fake talk going around I wonder if they truly know what they have.

Always trust a reviewer that buys his stuff before I trust a "I got this free" person. I don't know if those people get a better product but if it is free, why would you say it sucks and lose your freebies. Plus some well know reviewers have lately bought in to their own hype and in doing so have lost creditablity.

One place I can really recommend is..........

http://www.discountvapers.com/

I am sure that there are lots of great places that sell clones but Eric over at DV really goes over and above with his customer service and stands behind his product.

The Digital Cig http://www.thedigitalcig.com/ is another great place.

I had an issue once with a really bad batch of Evod heads that I had purchased on sale (I bought 40 of them) and they were garbage. I contacted the owner Tim, and he took care of it very quickly, took them back, got me the replacements very quickly as well as a store credit for my inconvenience.

The only downside to the folks who buy their own mods to review (rather than the vendor/manufacturer sending it to them) is that they have to wait like the rest of us for it to be available. A lot of times the folks that have the stuff sent to them are getting it way ahead of it being on sale for the rest of us.

Would you be my new uncle, since all of mine are dead? Thanks for the great information and help. - muth
