This battery is kind of fascinating. It's ICR and not IMR which is how they can get away with better specs than a VTC4, that's nothing new it's just generally unsafe. But they say "Aspire has developed a new Solid Solution technology by mixing the high capacity characteristics of the Li-ion chemistry [cobalt based] cells, and high safety of the LiMn2O4 [manganese based] Lithium based batteries.". That sounds similar to what Samsung did, at least in marketing speak, and it's working for Samsung. And they are very transparent with their testing and internal documents, there's way more info there than manufacturer's typically give out. It's not a rewrap, it's clear from their test report that it's made in China to their specs.
Also being 1800mAh their claims are possible.
I'm tempted to get some samples to see how they do.
