****SOLD****____FS: Hana DNA40 clone

This unit is in like new condition. I only used it for the purposes of writing a review on it. Includes factory box, charging cable, screwdriver, instruction manual, and a length of wire. Squape R and battery are not included.

This is a 40W DNA40 clone with temperature control. Honestly, the TC works but not incredibly well... or at least not as well as my authentic Hana V4d (which I will also be selling in the next day or two). As a "regular" 40W box mod to use with Kanthal builds it works very nicely. It's pretty cleanly built for a China box. 510 is fixed.

$45 $30 shipped. Payment via Google Wallet preferred but I can do PP if absolutely necessary.

For an additional $10 I will include a brand new 25' roll of *tempered* 30ga Ni200 wire. Tempered is much easier to work with than annealed wire and is only available from the UK.

lol... it probably looks like that, huh? It's a decent little mod, just wished TC worked better than it does. It seems to hit TP prematurely - but, I'm still a newbie when it comes to TC. I bought an authentic Hana specifically to use as a baseline for the clone review.

I'm not sure who make this clone, the vendor won't disclose the manufacturer.

Before considering this mod, please look for my review on vapingcheap.com. I'm doing the final edits now... not sure when the site owner will publish it. Hopefully sometime today.

I will say though, I think it'll be a much better standard VW mod to use with Kanthal.

i dont mean to hijack the thread, after all, balls would be chopped off for this on other forums... but im still a newb to TC also. one thing i have found, is using TC, if you have the power cranked up, and it hits TP, it throttles the power back. when it does that, production goes to shit. what i've got into the habit of doing is watching to see where TP kicks in, and turning the wattage down to around it, and eventually getting it dialed in to the only time TP kicks in is when the atty runs dry, or i stop inhaling. it works SO much better this way. almost everything i'd seen or read on temp control, or temp protection never mentions this.

I'd to $30 shipped on this with the caveat that TP works but not super well. It won't burn a wick though - I fired it at 40W/600F on a dry, fresh wick and it didn't burn the cotton - TP kicked in immediately. You pretty much need to run it at 600F to avoid banging into TP constantly, even at lower power levels. It does work well in VW mode and appears to be very nicely built.

$30 for a 40W mod ain't bad, TP or not.
