My First Attempt!

After many hours of reading and brushing up, I decided to give DIY a shot. For my first attempt, I will be trying to make some max vg Unicorn Milk clone. I found the recipe on reddit somewhere and decided to go with this one as it seemed to have the least amount of flavors and got great feedback. I am also planning on mixing up some non-flavored VG nic. Anywhoo, here is my first order, hope I did okay. Should make me quite a bit of juice and save many dollars.

Is it normal for my VG to be saturated inside the plastic bag? I haven't opened it yet and was wondering if it's worrisome? It looks like some leaked, should I attempt a return?

Im leaning towards no, just use the stuff. I just want to be sure it's ok before ripping into it.

I had the same thing happen. Once I cleaned it up it wasn't actually leaking from anywhere I could see. I just used it.

I knew where the leaks were, I just used it anyway. Not like its dirtier by being opened. PG is ok, VG is my choice. Like it thick. Tanks do it best.

I ordered from the same place. I think before it was sealed there was leakage. It was my VG that leaked too. Good luck. I just started too. I did small single flavor mixes first.

First batch was made Friday. I made a 120ml batch, larger than I wanted for my first batch but oh well.

Recipe used:
10% TFA Strawberry Ripe
5% TFA Cheesecake (Graham Crust)
3% TFA Bav Cream
3% TFA Sweet Cream
2% TFA Vanilla Custard

I completed the batch and shook it up nice and good. The smell of the flavors was pretty strong, or fresh I should say. I tried a drip or 2, it definitely needed some away time. I put it away for the weekend. I whipped it out of hibernation last night to give it a puff, still kinda strong but doing well. I must say that I am proud of myself, much easier than I could've ever anticipated. Overall, I am very happy with my concoction and look forward to more flavors. There are a few recipes in my sights that I'll be getting the ingredients for real soon. I can't wait to start experimenting.

Oh yeah, I mixed up some 100% VG Nic @ 6mg. I used 1ml of my 48mg/ml VG nic and 7ml of VG. The taste is pretty bad. I can't really describe it, almost like vinyl or rubber or something. It's definitely not what I was hoping for. Is this normal for this mix? I read somewhere it's supposed to taste like a marlboro light? Any ideas?

Congrats on the successful mix! Can't say I've ever had that flavor from my VG (which is kind of sweet in a nondescript sort of way) or my nic (Vaperstek)...
