Noticed a number of folks on other forums are having issues ordering from gearbox.....
A few on this forum say they are having issues as well, and seeing this is the first time I've ever heard of gearbest I gotta ask are they a vendor or manufacture?...... just curious, thx

They are another chinese vendor, I haven't received anything from them yet, but am waiting on the IPV4 from them though.

I thought they were in Hungary, lol. I ordered a couple weeks ago and it took that long to show any movement. I've heard it does take a while, but I wasn't in any hurry. Just a good deal was all.

Copy that...thx
Speaking for myself as cheap as fastech is for instance, I don't order from them at all... It's a very long boat ride to the States, and I get impatient waiting for vapemail ....lol. BTW,
I ordered the IPV4 ($79.99) this morning from Vape NW, located in WA State...
This was also a pre order but they will be shipping them out early next week...cool thing is the vendor is in the States, and customer service answers all my questions quickly by email..that's always a plus!
Anyway, thanks for the reply!

Yea I hate waiting, but I am a cheap bastard, so I suffer the wait for money saved, I ordered the IPV4 from gearbest for $65, but could be waiting 6 months to get it though o_O

Never ordered from Gear Best but people must be complaining for a reason. Asian suppliers are slower than snails.
I've ordered little accessory type crap from Fast Tech and weeks later find myself looking at a box from China and asking myself " What the hell did I order?"

I normally do the same thing you did and pay a little more for a US vendor. I think "what if" I need to do a return or exchange, but I said screw it and shaved a few bucks and bought the ipv4 from GB.

Yeah, but I look at the money I save not having to buy tobacco products anymore and covers the little bit of added expensive buying things like mods here in the states vs overseas....plus no worries wondering if and when it might get here...

Oh, crap. We ordered at the same time, right Huck? Mine shows no tracking info at all. After 2 weeks, that's not a good sign.

We did. When I look at their site, I don't see movement, so I copy the tracking info and google Hungary Post. I only see movement, it's not specific. It may have moved to the other end of their facility for all I know. :(

Not digging Gearbest at the moment. They cancelled my IPV4 order after billing me for it and then tried to give me my money back on a store account. They said they wouldn't bill me until my order was 3-5 days out from shipping. They Billed me on the 19th of April and then I received an email from them today 9 days after I was billed stating that due to supplier issues they can't fulfill my IPV4 order. I could choose a GB Wallet and they would give me 5x points for my order. 50pts=$1 off your next order. So they basically are giving me a whopping 8 bucks off my next order. So generous. So I checked thinking maybe I might find something I wanted and their prices on iSticks and Kanger sub tanks are more than what I can get them for in the US at a brick and mortar or at least equal to that. So yeah my first and probably only dealing with China sucked. I would rather support my local vape store or US based online retailer and get it in a week than wait weeks only to have my order cancelled. And then have to wait an additional 5-7 days for them to refund my money. And the GB banner at the bottom of the page is mocking me.

For me, getting what I paid for quickly is worth much more than the money I will save. If I need to save money that bad, I wont be buying vape gear.
I just dont see the allure. Id rather spend 100 dollars at my local shop, have my mod now, support local economy, and get decent customer service, than pay 75dollars on some foreign site, wait weeks for delivery and have non existent after sale support.
Maybe id go for a few little things, if it only cost a couple dollars, like a couple cheapo rda clones, or some drip tips, or vape bands. But anything major, like a mod, ill get locally or at least in country.

Its a classic bait and switch. They get you to send them money and then say your order can't be fulfilled and your two options are basically store credit. They have your money but they aren't willingly going to give it back. I know I will never do business with them again.

OK to be fair they did refund my money today after I threatened to out them to over 6000+ vapers. I still probably won't have anything to do with them in the future unless its some low dollar item.

I will also never do businees with them again. I ordered a cloupor mini for 27 dollars and paid 17 dollars for expedited shipping(2-5 days) well a month later I still didn't have my nod. They said I it was because of chinese new year. So I attached a screen shot of my order where it showed i ordered a week before CN and they had the item in stock. Si I asked for a refund on my shipping since I paid for expedited shipping and received no expediting. It actually went on the slow boat from china. They claimed it was the shippers fault. i said it was on them to make sure my item got shipped . They didn't do anything till I emailed them saying I was going to rate them down on every customer service rating site I could find and then post on every vaping site and forum about how bad their customer service is. That got their attention and a few days later they refunded my shipping. Oh they tried to give me site credit first.

They tried to cancel my IPV4 order as well, after charging my card - offering to refund or give store credit, but I called them out on the fact that they are still taking pre-orders and told them to un-cancel it. They complied and my order is now back to "processing", and they told me that they will get it shipped as soon as possible (they say 7-10 days). Time will tell what they actually end up doing.

I agree with you to a point.. My local shop wanted $150 + tax for the IPV3..I got it online for $109, no tax and free shipping... But I do buy juice and small items from my local shop..
I never order from vendors outside the US... Never! Lol

While I have never dealt with them myself, I have heard from many folks that have bought from them.

If reputable means that you eventually received the merchandise you ordered from them, then yes they are.

But if you are expecting fast shipment and delivery and prompt responses to your communications, no they are not.

Well thats a big difference. Im lucky to have a local shop thats has decent prices. I bought a sigelei 150 for 120 at the shop, when at the time, it was 100online. Also, I got a CLTv2 for 40, when the internet had it for 35.

Though there is a tobacco shop at the mall that sells god mods for 250 and sigelei 100s for 200. They are a bunch of crooks.
I would absolutely order from gearbest or fasttech than spend twice what something is worth.

Though my tracking info showed "not listed" the entire time (and still does), my order arrived in perfect condition 14 days after I got the email saying it had shipped. The "it shipped" email was sent about 12 hours after I placed my order. whew!

I'm not digging the Chinese thing either anymore. Ordered something for the first time from China and the tracking has forever said shipper has prepared shipment Xiamen. I think it's coming on the boat that they smuggle the illegals in lol.
