Equipment and where to find it

I've been mixing for a while now and would like to start mixing by weight and I'm having some problems finding scales that have everything you need. (No auto shut off, weighs to the .001, etc) If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

JXN is correct. Don't bother looking around. Go by weight. You will love life. I did have some issues with this scale bouncing around. The ceiling fan on low pushed it around.

I'll second (or third) that recommendation.... the LB-501 is prefect for mixers.

I use this one:

Yes, it does have auto shutoff, but since you tare in between adding ingredients I've never found it to be an issue! I use the 10 gram weight to ensure that the scale recognizes the first drop I use (otherwise it doesn't read it until the second drop).

You'll be fine with a scale that measures .01 if that wasn't a typo. I use this one...

I got this one also and love it but I started with one that was about 8 bucks and liked it too. I never had any problems with the auto shut off but always felt rushed. Now I don't have to worry about it.
