I just picked up a sigelei 150 and a maganus tank today. Was wanting the ivp4 but I figured I would wait to see how it is in time. But dam this combo is amazing! The maganus is amazing, flavor is better then my rdas and cloud production is pretty much the same. I am definitely in love with this setup for the time being.

Yeah I use the Maganus on my 100WPlus and it's a killer setup. My favorite of the sub's so far. I hit it at 100W for giggled and nearly knocked myself out of my chair though. I'm happiest around 65-70W

Bit off topic, but damn this industry is taking giant steps. A year ago the hottest clearo was the Nautilus at 12-13w :D now we have these 150w clearomizers that produce vapor like crazy and eat juice like theres no tomorrow.

Just think whats going on a year from now? 400w clearos?

Probably so with vaping growing and more company's making products.

I tried using my mutation on the 150 and with the .3 duel parrelel I ran on my mech it's not proforming that great. I know i heard you don't build the same on these like on mechs, mechs you have to build low ohm to get results. Need to find some good builds for the 150. Any sugesstions?

I keep thinking that in the not to distant future there will be some kind of new atomizer tech that will need and make use of the new higher power APVs.

I believe that due to voltage output of the device, you have to build .3 or lower to actually use 150 watts. You're still limited by the amount of voltage the device can push. I'm not able to suggest a build, but I'd guess your main obstacle is wicking. I've pushed the limits a couple of times, and a one second hit can dry up a dripper. I'm sure better wicking would help, but it's really just too much power. .45 26ga duals are my go to and perform well from 45-70 watts. I tend to vape around 55.

I'm using Mutation X's as well, BTW.

What diameter and how many wraps do you use?

It's either 5/64th drill bit, or 2.5mm. Can't remember which rod I used. I think it was the 5/64th, though. 6 wraps each, duals. This with only six airflow holes open, along with a more restrictive drip tip gets great flavor. Open it up and use the delrin one and it's respectable for clouds, though that's not my thing so much.

Cool the one I use alot on my mutation on a mech is 26 or 28 duel parrelel. Around .2-.3. I just know on these regulated box mods sub ohm is not a must. Might try a duel .5 parrelel. I read that people like higher ohm coils with alot of wraps on regulated boxes.

Are you using the 26 gauge so you can use higher watts with a thicker wire? A 28 would get hot too fast?

I mostly run a duel 28 .3 ohm parallel just seemed like it was burning juice to fast and getting dry hits some times. So I switch to a 26. It's alittle slow start up but not getting dry burnt hits. And the flavor seems alittle better with more surface area on the coils.

In all the different tech dealing with electronics is always a leap frog game.

Thanks. I was thinking of trying 26 since the 28 is quick, even at low watts.

Yea 26 is nice I just put it on the sigelei so I can put alittle more wattage then my mech can. On the mech it's just takes alittle longer to heat the a 28 would

There's no reason to use thin'ish wire when using a sig 150. Try some 24g and large diameter coils. Maybe dual coils, 6 1/2 wraps, 3mm diameter. That's my friends setup using a mutation on his sig 150. I can't remember the watt setting, but it's somewhere between 50-70w and the airflow is adjusted to have one and a half rows of holes open. Great vapor and flavor.

My next build was going to be duel 24 gauge 6 wrap around 3mm. And that's the same way I like my air flow on the mutation.

You can set it so it's pushing the same voltage as a mech, and it'll perform nearly identically. Depending on your particular mechanical it should fire similarly between 3.8-4.1v. There's a sweet spot in there somewhere, just ignore the wattage and look at your voltage, you'll find it

i know you can adjust the wattage and voltage to the same as a mech but what i ment was when i turned the watts and voltage up higher then what a mec pushes it wasnt proforming that great. it would start burning from getting hot to quick. so i built with a thinker wire and it is working alot better at higher watts. i just have to get use to building alittle different now that i can adjust the watts instead of it being fixed at what i build. i am going to be picking up a doge soon and will be putting on that duel 24g.
