First of all i'm new to vaping and the atomizer i have now is running at 2.4 ohms and i'm getting a weird burnt taste from it but the juice is absolutely fine and quite good. Does anyone know why this is happening?

What atomizer and what juice are you vaping? Could just be turned up too high so the wick is not keeping up with the vapor. Try turning it down some.

I'm using the Diamond Mist ProTank with some Juice that a local shop makes, the juice is absolutely brilliant though. I'm only running it at about 3.5-3.8v too.

I've also switched it with the spare coil that comes with it and still getting the same problem.

The coil heads could be duds. Try dripping a little juice directly into the head. Chart indicates optimal vaping at 2.4 ohm is at 4.2v.
If you dont allot the head to saturate you risk dry burning ang that flavor will never go away until you replace.
Back in the carto days youd have to take a few primer puffs before hitting the fire button.

It's helped quite a bit thanks :) i'll keep running it like this for another few weeks or so because i'll be buying a better atomizer soon :)

I had a problem with my tank, could be bad batch of coils, I had an atlantis and the coils were DOA, bought a pack from somewhere else and they work great

Well the tank I have isn't exactly the best, just got it because I needed one and the local vape store was shut. It's probably just because it's a cheap piece of kit haha
