I'm currently buying some house juice that is way over priced, I really like the flavor but I'm very picky on what I can vape. Some of the nicotine that places use affect my throat. The place I get my juice from uses all organic flavors and nic.

My question is what are some sites that would carry these? I've looked around but get confused with what nic to get and or flavorings. I looked at the Wizard Labs nic but wasn't sure on which one to get as there were a few options.

I vape a 70/30 vg/pg and the flavors they use in the juice I like are toasted marshmallow/blueberry/strawberry. At 19.99 for a 30ml, I'm at the point that I want to start making it since I know what flavors are in the juice.
Any help would be apprenticed

I'm a big van of Bull City Vapor as a one-stop shop, along with their Vaperstek nic. I've also had Nude Nicotine and liked it (their flavors are great as well, but pricey), but others have reported a strong peppery taste. I've used some other nicotine from local shops (unknown supplier) and it's been horrible. Light flavor and fruit vapers tend to be more sensitive to the nic than users of heavy flavors like tobaccos, so keep that in mind.

As far as flavor brands, I tend to stick with Flavour Art and The Flavor Apprentice - Bull City carries a good line of each, and I'm pretty confident in the quality, though not sure about the "organic" nature of their extracts.

@RocketPuppy has a great sticky thread on what it takes to get started, you should check her out for some of the other basic know-how when it comes to jumping in...

Thanks guys for the help. After looking up some of the flavors there is no way the the flavors can be organic. I think my problem with House juice is the nic they use. A lot of the places I try I get a peppery taste which irritates my throat, so that's why I'm looking for at least Organic nicotine which might aid in that.

I don't think "organic" is the term you're looking for - I've never heard of anyone claiming to have organic nic.

Another question I had regarding purchasing nicotine, What is the preference when choosing, pg/vg based?

The other new mixer thread on the front page atm has some good info too

@johnnyknoxsvill I recommend 50/50 nic base unless you are specifically trying to get your final VG% >85-90% or someone close is allergic to PG. This is for ease of handling (filling syringes, smaller drop size, less mess) and nic stays mixed better - less chance of concentrated "hot spots" in the base.

No problem making 70% VG mixes with a 50/50 nic base.

RTS nic has kept quite well for me.

PG based, like flavours, then a nice gallon jug of VG from TFA.

I have TFA Wild Blueberry, nice but extremely tame with 80% VG

Medicine Flower sells organic flavorings, which are reported to be fantastic. The initial expense is high ($22 for 15ml), but the flavorings are extremely concentrated, therefore the cost per ml of finished juice may not be any higher than that made with other flavorings. User Abdaba (if I recall correctly) also sells Medicine Flower dilutions, so you might find this to be a good option for trying Medicine Flower as well.

I got one really peppery batch of nic from Nude Nicotine and haven't bought from them since. I can personally recommend Vaperstek (non throat hit) and NicVape for being extra clean and clear, although I did recently order a small bottle from Nicotine River to give them a try.
I do prefer a 50/50 mix for my own nicotine, but some places don't give that option, it's either/or. Since I mix for others as well, I always order a bottle of each and mix small bottles of my own preference.
The prices and shipping for flavors from http://mamajsflavorshop.com/ can't be beat! I also go to Wizard Labs for small 8ml bottles of TFA and Capella flavorings for $1.49 each. Larger bottles of those are best from Bull City Vapor or ECig Express. I have not heard very good things about nicotine from Wizard Labs though.
I generally go to eBay for really good deals on bottles, syringes, pipettes, etc., although @Huckleberried did post a link in another thread for good deals on glassware.
If you do decide to take the DIY route, start with this thread:

It is a wellspring of knowledge from some of the best DIYers around!

I used to buy their premixed organic eliquid a few years back and really liked it. Vaperite.com has organic flavor concentrates. You see them in the drop down menu for flavors.

https://www.vaperite.com/flavor-concentrate-6-ml-no-tobacco-flavors.html

I've never had a problem with Wizard Labs nicotine. In fact I always order and pay for 18mg VG and put in the notes I prefer 12 mg mixed 70VG/30PG if they can do it. So far they have done it and labeled it properly, so I have my perfect base all ready to go with no mixing or re-bottling. If they couldn't I'd just divide it into two bottles and add enough PG to get where I want. They used to offer mix to spec but got so popular they had to stop.

@Teresa P can you please update when you receive your product from Nicotine River? I've been looking for anyone who has used them since they started advertising here on VU. I know a lot of B&M's and juice makers use NicSelect nicotine, but Nicotine River is the first place I've found that will sell NicSelect to general public in smaller quantities. I'm just looking for someone with positive feedback towards them before placing an order. I'll look forward to hearing your response. I remember there being a thread where someone affiliated with them posted, but I'm not able to find it now...they were also pushing Vista Vapors, so I was wondering if they are affiliated with each other?

It should be in my mailbox now. I've been looking forward to trying it, pretty sure the small 60ml bottle I got was just $8 with shipping bringing it up to $11 and change. I'll definitely let you know about my first impressions and then again after a few days or couple of weeks to see if there are any changes.
Not sure about any affiliation with Vista, hadn't heard myself, but of course that means nothing.

If Nicotine River is the same nic as NicVape, I already know it's good.

I suspect others use it also but it's harder to track down because they are not identifying their source, as in they are getting their nicselect nic through wholesalers like Vaporworld.

There are very few(two EU companies, one US company based in EU) high quality manufacturers of nic that are not India or China companies. Most quality nic comes from two manufacturers, including VT nic.

Nicselect vendors

http://www.vermillionriversupply.com/

http://www.nicotineriver.com/

http://www.nicotinetrading.com/

http://www.vaporworld.biz/

http://www.nicvape.com/

http://www.vermillionriverejuice.com/

These do not include vendors that that get Nicselect from one of the wholesalers such as vaporworld. These are just the ones that are listed on Nicselect's webpage.

One that is not on the webpage, and does not sell nic base is http://www.cheapglycerin.com/
Thanks @Time I do know that VaporWorld.biz will only sell nicotine to a business, and also only in large quantities. I also looked into the others...and I don't see anyone offering anything less than a liter except NicVape, and their prices are steep in my opinion. Thus is why I asked if anyone had any experience dealing with Nicotine River.

Actually, vaporworld sells 4oz 8oz 16oz 1liter 100mg(and less) bottles but yes, it has to be a wholesale account.

@RZAwora - Nicotine River is NicVape, it's good! NicVape was actually the first nic I ever used but it was kinda pricey (almost double the cost of what others were using), so I switched to Vaperstek, which tastes (to me) identical to NicVape. I have noticed recently that NV has lowered their prices some, so I'll definitely order from them again. It's clear, clean, and I detect no taste in my mixes with it. If Nicotine River is NicVape, I'm happy. :)
And thanks for the link @Time !

I do have a wholesale account with them, but the Nic is OOS. When it comes in I can let you guys know. It says they carry Capella and TFA but they don't have any flavors listed.

Very pleased with my order from Nicotine River - I unboxed it today and it is indeed NicSelect. They also upgraded my 60ml bottle to 150ml, so I got more than double for the $8 + shipping that I paid for. :)

Now that's AWESOME customer service! :) Good for you. Thanks for the update. I guess I'm torn now between whether I want to order Vaperstek or NicSelect.

For quality, you won't go wrong either way. But 150ml of nic for 8 bucks is off the charts to me. Could be because it was my first order with them, but I'm sure happy about it!

I just started diying myself and got my nic from myfreedomdmokes.com and have enjoyed it. My flavors are from the flavor apprentice and from what in hearing on here mamaj's is a really good place that I definitely will be trying in the near future. I also got some vg from flavor apprentice. For what my 2¢ is worth.
