Speed steeping in any form will jump start the process a bit. but its kinda funny how long it really takes lol. lets say you steep it for 12 hours in a CP or UC then for everything to relax after the beating it took will be a couple more days at least. So now you are into it about 3 or 4 days and by that time you have made 10 other bottles of juice you are playing with so you forgot the ones you made 4 days ago for a few more days and the next thing you know its been a week and you may as well have shook it up and vaped a little and put the rest away for a week lol.
I do support speed steeping though and it really helps your custard vapes become creamy and smooth faster. I would recommend using a dehydrator or a crock pot. I personally have burnt out 3 ultrasonic cleaners. UC's are just not meant to be ran that long and hard especially if you have a serious mixing addiction.
eventually you wont need to speed steep anything. 9 times out of 10 you will have a good idea before mixing it what its going to taste and will be able to make adjustments from a shake and vape and blast out a recipe in a day and let it sit for week no problem because of the mountain of juice in your cabinet

. Dont worry about knocking it out of the park in your first 6 months of mixing. take the first 6 months to explore and tinker without any expectation of a grand slam. It will happen. mix, vape, mix, vape, mix, vape, eat, sleep, mix, vape, mix, vape, mix, vape The best way to find out what a mix is going to taste like in 30 days is to wait 30 days
