Possibly a dumb question. I only know egos and my istick 50 -- so im thinking of buying the kbox 40 W as a second mod for some family and myself. Uses 18650 batteries.

So -- do I connect a USB wire to the kbox to charge that sucker or do I have to buy a charger?

Sorry if this was obvious somewhere but you'd be surprised at how most sites assume one knows this already...

I've always read to charge in a charger, so I do. I'm all for safety.

K box 40 doesn't have a charging port, will need a charger.

Thanks guys! Is this a constant thing for all replaceable-battery mods? They all require a charger?

Yes. Some do have a USB charging ablity, but it's generally considered best to use a charger.

Thanks guys, ended up buying the kbox, plus one 18650 battery and a 2-port charger. Here is what I got specifically, if any other noob comes across this thread:

kbox: http://www.discountvapers.com/kangertech-k-box-40w-18650-mod/

Battery: http://www.discountvapers.com/efest-imr-18650-2500mah-battery-35-amp-flat-top/

Charger: http://www.discountvapers.com/efest-luc-v2-multifunction-digital-charger/

I dont represent discountvapors, im just linking to what I exactly bought. Hoping I got all matching gear...or should I say, compatible.

You just need at least one more battery. Gotta have a fresh one while the other is charging. ;)
