From what I've read effest isn't exactly the best brand, that their actually re wraps....lotta people have bitched bout em, that said I have used them pretty regularly(have bout 2 or 3 pairs) and haven't had issues and I usually do .25-.3 ohm dc builds to run on my mechs, they do warm up a bit sometimes but I've never had one vent or anything and have been getting em since last summer when the vtc5's started disappearing
I've had them for a few days they have lasted through out the day but I had to get new batteries my other too had about had it lol

Also just finished my 1st DIY bottle, 15ml 6mg 80/20 vg/pg clone of MPS (still figuring out the flavor mix since I haven't found an actual recipie) and I love it so far, the mango really sticks out with strawberry decently there and the pineapple not being overpowering :) though I do have a question....what do you do if the pg % is shown as a negative amount?

Warming up degrades battery life you're using commonsense is why it hasn't vented and if you want a nice alternative to vtc try LG HE4 or 2

And the pièce de résistance... I've wanted this for a while. So I just had to do it. She hits like a truck! If I had to get away from regulated boxes such as the Sigelei 150 or the IVP 4... This would be the one to do it. Slug Mod!

I've got some Efest batteries in my mix, plus some Sony's, LG's, etc. I've seen nothing discouraging from any of my Efest batteries compared to the more popular brands. I did accidentally go to bed the other night and left three batteries on the charger all night. I really don't like doing that but no harm done. LOL

The brand isn't revered as top quality but not sub par either

35a can handle that build fine just don't push it with a .2 or .1 get a 50-60a for those builds

Nice :) I had one of the IMREN 40a 18650's and honestly wasn't a fan. Picked it up at local shop to try cuz I'd heard people all giddy bout em and the get up and go wasn't to shabby but the actual battery life seemed seemed to go quick in my opinion, but that's just me

high amp ratings equal low milliamps per hour. Almost always, at the moment.

You are spot on! I certainly hear that. I have been holding out for awhile so I decided to splurge... The Slug is a clone and holy crap did they get it right! I always do my homework before buying anything. There is not much I don't use except the Plume Veil 1.5

If mine shows as a negative I either change my ratio of pg/vg or increase the amount I'm making unti it is not negative. If that makes any sense...

Has anyone used the MXJO?
Im wondering the same thing about mxjo. Though, if we can go off what lots of vapers use, they seem to be alright. Personally though, I have never used them, I tend to only buy the tried and true batts.
I have been using the samsung25r's as paired sets for my sig 150.

I use the Samsung, Efest, and VTC 5... With the VTC 5 issues I was thinking of switching to the MXJO to see how they perform.

The samsung 25r's aren't to shabby, those are the other main batts I use besides the effest's and my 2 vtc4's and no complaints here good life hit hard and can usually find pairs for a decent price

Do you mean authenticity issues? For a while vtc5s were the king shit of batteries, but ive heard now they are cloned like crazy. Since the tsunami, sonys plant has been out of commision, or so ive been lead to believe.

I heard rumors that they were building a new plant to start making the vtc5's again back during the winter but haven't heard much lately, there was words going around bout quality control issues though

There are a lot of clones out there. Honestly efest have done the trick for me.
I have 2 efest "35amp" and they did very well for me. When I got them they kicked my vtc4s ass's, all over the playground. Now, not so much.
They lived in my mech mods, firing .2-.3ohm builds for the last 8 months. Now, I can tell they are getting old. I bought authentic vtc4s a couple months before I bought the efests and used them in the exact same way. They are both getting beat and old, but the efests are dying quicker.
Im a fucking cheapskate when it comes to batteries. I spend too much on diy shit and everything else gets put on the backburner.
