Need help with nic

So a friend and I started making our own juice and are currently in the experimental phase trying new flavor combos and whatnot. One thing that we have found is that there is a consistent harsh throat hit across the juices, we're pretty sure it's the nic we're using which he purchased from my freedom smokes. Any recommendations on a "clean" nic? Cost isn't a consideration, just quality. Any "known best" brands/suppliers?

Would appreciate any insight from the veteran juice makers here. Thanks in advance.

What is your PG/VG ratio? Higher PG gives more of a throat hit, so you might want to lower PG content.

Sorry, should have been more specific about our prior testing. The throat hit remains the same from a 50/50 to a 80/20. Didn't want the post to be a novel. But we have done our due diligence in narrowing it down to the nic. But thanks for the response.

Thanks Mark, i think we have a couple of flavors that we are really happy with and only need minor tweaking and then there's some that need significantly more work, but it's an enjoyable process. Once we get the nic brand settled i will be back with questions on flavorings and vendors and such.

And nevermind, the dumb is going away, it's Vaperstek (that s makes all the difference in the world apparently). Heh, maybe i shouldn't be playing with liquid nic, i may not be smart enough....

Vaperstek nic is clean and very smooth. I've tried and and got NO throat hit from it. I'm a repeat buyer of their throat hit nic. It has only a bit of throat hit. With either one, I've had really great tasting mixes.

I've had good luck with Nude Nicotine and Vaperstek - others have said Nude is crap and to only trust Vaperstek. At the moment, all the bottles in my freezer are Vaperstek, and it's all smooth, lumpless gravy.

So far, I only had Nude Nicotine's 100mg base, no issues. However, due to living on the east coast, my next order will be from http://www.usa-laboratories.com. I got that seller of the forum here.

Nude nicotine has bad customer service in my experience.
Made a purchase of 250mls of 100mg of nic.No shipping notice was sent,2 emails later and no response.

Customer service is just as important as product with me.

I went ahead and took a chance with a liter from Nude...took like 5 days to ship, and still no answer to an inquiry I sent with the order. For a comparable price I'll probably go back to Vaperstek after this one...if they ship even within 2-3 days it'll cross the country quicker than Nude will move my product less than 10 miles.

I'm still waiting on my Nude Nicotine sample 12 days after ordering it. I understand I was probably last priority because it's just a sample, but it was a test of their service before I placed a larger order. They didn't respond when I enquired about it 3 days ago, but I did see that they finally actually got it out when I did. I try to be understanding of small business, but I won't be placing a regular order with them now. I just don't like waiting 2 weeks for a shipment from California to Colorado with no communication. It would have been different if they'd at least let me know of a delay or admitted to a mistake. ANY communication is better than none. Even an autoreply! I'm really disappointed and will order from Vaperstek.

I received my Nude Nicotine sample today. They included a small bottle of their patchouli vanilla and I have to say I'm thrilled with everything. The packaging was great and the documentation was fabulous. The nicotine tested accurately as well with my test kit I already had. I forgive you, Nude Nicotine!

I'll order from Vaperstek as well. Can't have too much nicotine stored just in case, you know. It'll feel nice to support multiple vendors, especially at this point in time.

Btw, the patchouli vanilla smells divine. Nice.
