So I have a chance on Monday to get either a I taste vtr or an itaste 134 mini. Which should I get and why? I really love the look of the vtr that's pretty much the only thing I can say about either because I have never used either.

I would go for the VTR over the mini just because of battery life if nothing else.

You wouldn't happen to know what the lowest ohm I can do on it is? Would it work for cloud chasing as well, sorry lol I'm hooked

Copied this from madvapes description

Product Details
All the best things about the iTaste MVP, SVD and 134 come together in Innokin's VTR. This device is built like a tank and hits the same way. The VTR can be adjusted from 3.0 to 6.0 volts in .1-volt increments, or from 3.0 to 15.0 watts in .5-watt increments. It features a recessed 510 connection, which gives the VTR a unique look when appropriate tanks are attached. This kit comes included with an adapter to allow the use of eGo-threaded atomizers or any device that simply won't fit into the recessed area, while maintaining a uniform look. The VTR uses a flat top IMR 18650 battery, which will last most users all day. It also features a built-in ohm-meter to check the resistance of your attached coil. The VTR is solid, heavy and durable and comes included with the new iClear 30S, an improved version of the original iClear 30, which fits perfectly into the VTR's recessed connection. There is no other mod quite like this one!

Features:

  • Variable Voltage: 3.0 – 6.0 volts
  • Variable Wattage: 3.0 – 15.0 W
  • Short Circuit Protection
  • RMS (root mean square)
  • Reverse Battery Protection Circuit
  • Resistive Load Detection (Ohms meter)
  • ON/OFF battery switch
  • LED Battery Power Display
  • Low Voltage Warning
  • Overtime Vaping Warning (10 second switch cutoff)
  • Battery safety protection (Vent holes)
  • High compatibility 510/eGo connector
  • Built-in 3 digit display (Ohms meter, Volts /Watts, Atomizer voltage output)
  • Replaceable Battery: iTaste VTR supports 18650 batteries (unprotected)

Those specs don't specify a lower ohms limit, but given the device only goes to 15 watts, I'm guessing 1.2 or so - definitely not a cloud machine, but a solid device...

Taste is all going to come from the topper you choose - all your mod does is supply power. I'd say a Nautilus is probably going to be the best thing to pair with it, not sure if a full-size will fit down in the tube though.

Why not take a look at the evic vt. You can get the mod itself for about $50-$55 and the full kit with the ego one xl atty for between $65 and $75. It's a temperature control device, let's you use ni200, titanium or kanthal. 60w device, built extremely well, has a slick paint job and has a 5000mah built in battery

I wish I had other choices but the place I'm going to dose not have a big selection, I think these are probably the best mods they have. I am currently attend school in another country and don't have many choices for vape shops and this one is about a 4 hour drive from my house

No option to ship to you? Plenty of good, cheap options from Fasttech, Gearbest, Efun, or others, if you can wait...

i do have that option but only as a last resort, the customs tax in this state is ridiculous is nearly 30% of the price of the product. and being a student not making money i really cant afford to go that route so i have to make do with what is around. this way i will just take a 3 hour bus ride to this vape shop and get something from them. and they dont have very many options because it is a small shop and not to mention they are having a going out of business sale so i will be getting what ever mod i choose at half price brand new :)

Even with a 30% tax you still might be better off in the long run paying to import from China vs. buying 2+ year-old tech like a VTR...

You might also take into account that you need to have or buy batteries and a charger with the vtr I would go with the evic vt and any of the sub tanks.

Actually the VTR does read down to a 0.6 I believe but not a cloud machine none the less.

Grats on your new mod. I would probably go with a Nautilus mini or Aerotank.

Man I got this mod kit on sale paid 25 dollars for it brand new :) I'm not sure I'm gonna have to look up his mods. The prices vary around the same as in the states but some stuff is cheaper. Yup everything I need but I'm hooked I think tomorrow I'm going to go buy a mec mod and a rda or a rba hooked!
