Hi people, I have joined a torch forum and brought up efest seems to be a brand most stay away from. That was not a good move. I might as well of urinated on a picture or muhammed in Iraq. They went absolotely mad at me, saying I only have 26 post, Efest are the most respected battery maker (I pointed out rewrapper).
My argument was why get the Efest when you can get the cell that Efest originally used, in A grade? But no, efest still make the best batteries to some of them. I also found out Efest are the only manufacturer of 10440's (I think) and they said they work great. I didn't think they made batteries, how does this work?
My main question is this:how do we get 18650's that are mass produced by say samsung, and not meant for consumers(according to the flashlight forum) they sell the surplus. So Do the vape shops buy surplus? I imagine they have to buy large amounts to do this. Is it even true they are not for consumers like they are saying?
I also explained it is because I am a vaper, and they advertise a battery at 20 AMP but it could be as low as 4. In a flashlight that wont matter, but in a vape it could explode in your face, so I think because it was less dangerous to them it didn't matter, or they did not want to hear it.
So, how do we get original batteries if they are not meant for the public?
