soldering iron took a shit, so i didnt get to finish it. i ended up putting it in my parallel 26650 box. for now. kinda pissed i ripped apart my cloupor mini cause it still worked and i liked that thing. i might give it another go at stuffing the chip in there again

not really, your best bet is to get the FDV ones, throw it in a drill chuck, and us a file to shape it while its turning

And I guess this is my happy morning ... I survived my Iron Butt Ride and was this years fast finisher for the club. 1068.1 miles in just under 17 hours. Great surprise ... I was greeted by a parking lot full of friends at the finish.

And the Evic survived the day on the charge I left with yesterday morning. I took a charging cable but never had to use it.
