View attachment 23098View attachment 23099ask and you shall recieve, subtank mini chimney buildit was a little sloppy for the pic but once the housing was in place it cleaned up nicely no added air constriction and wicks nicely

for it to be a chimney, the center of the coil needs to be open and the wick around the outside, kind of like the way atlantis and delta coils heads are

That would be easy to do tho with how i positioned the coil both legs r bent toward the center of the coil the legs would hold the wic inplace around the coil in theory, ill have ro wait for more cotton to get to me

I agree, that build is not what I use or have seen, but beside that if it works, don't fix it.

Question about Nickle

I am use to using 24 & 26 gauge wire for my builds to get low ohms. Now with temp I have been trying the same and it no worky. I read somewhere you need to use smaller gauge to even get resistance in non resistance wire. Anyone have any input?

This what I have working with 26g nickle 200

14 wraps 0.21 single coil on 3mm
14 wraps 0.39 single coil on 3mm
Duel coil 3mm 12 Wraps 0.05

I made the coils fairly tight and I get really thick clouds using max vg, make sure and set resistance on ipv4 when you first screw it on mod, so to me the numbers are odd, but that's what worked for me :)

Part of my issues was my dark horse keeps shorting out so was frustrating and had to use my Mutation X

this is true, 30 and 32 are the best to be able to get some resistance out of it, you need MASSIVE coils with the thicker wire to get something the devices can fire

That IPV4 is of no use to me, it is going back! I have other TC devices and some more on the way.

Will she take it back? What temp control did you order? I am trying to decide what to get.

Yes she is taking it back, i am waiting on confirmation on some new Sigelei TC
I saw a preorder for the Sigelie but that was it. I am considering Don's SMY 60 TC but figure a lot of companies must have stuff about to hit the market.

I bet you had fun on your club bike ride  I have not rode a bike in years....I use to have a dirt bike to ride in the mountains but I cloths lined myself on a tree across the chest and have not rode since, "it hurt so bad :(

What wire and from where do you recommend again? I know you posted a while back but I did not bookmark :(

Look up Spider silk Ti wire by Envy. It is available on amazon. @Taver13, it's about a dollar a foot shipped. Insane ... yes. I probably have an order of 24, 26 & 28 guage Ti at the house now from an Etsy Jewelry shop. It is priced well and is claimed to be grade 1 surgical stuff. I'm gonna clean it up, try it and report result. The Spider Silk is packaged and prepped for vaping.

Ti is much more durable than Ni200 which makes the cost a little easier to swallow. Building with it required me to modify building habits. Pulsing coils isn't good. Overheated Ti produces Ti di oxide which is NOT good for you. Spaced coils aren't a requirement with Ti, but since you don't want to pulse it, microcoils gotta be built with extreme care.

Exactly well said, glad you pointed out the potential danger of Ti. I will someday venture that way, but from what I have read, to much risk. I am sticking with tempered Nickle.

I'm expecting no fewer than 20 new TL options by mid fall. I'm gonna do one and a backup then go into a holding pattern for all the slower innovators to get the market more settled.
