I pull the wick, dunk it in the ultra sonic ... 5 minutes later, it's clean. I also have an old ultrasonic toothbrush head I hit it with if I get it particularly crusty. Cleaned mine last night, but didn't require toothbrush treatment.

Warning ... Ti is more durable than Ni200. Word on the street is Ni200 has a couple days versus week or more of life. Neither are as durable as Kanthal.

But I heard the ti wire is finiky in some devices and also it comes with hazards if not careful so most stick with ni200

Any insight on that aspect?... I just know what I've read here and there so I'm not vast on knowledge plus o don't even have a TC device

Yeah but see that's my issue is it took that long to clam down and I know I'm not the only one that left cause of that so they lost out on people that were wanting to avoid the drama

And yeah they may have calmed down but they renamed to vapingblip that solidifies his involvement for asking as they hold that site

To me its like me working for a guy at Mike's audio... And he pisses me off and I go make my own business called "Fuck Mike's audio" instead of making a better business I'm always gonna be in his shadow cause of the name

Now while its not as obvious with vapingblip.. Anytime someone ask about the name they either have to lie or say "cause vaperjoes said..."

Like I said I don't hate the guys over there I just couldn't deal with the shoo shoo is all ... Not my cup of tea

Yeah, I've got nothing against them I just don't have time to keep up with two different forums. It's hard enough trying to keep up with you chatty bastards in this one thread!

Well someone's in the drama over there that's why I left every time I went to the forum it was something about what vaperjoes did or what vaporjoe said I just got sick of hearing it and now its called vaporblip... Really you named your site after what another guy offensively called you.... Nah I'd rather stick to this thread and avoid all that stuff all together

So all of a sudden my mod keeps reading temperature protected, even when I let it sit awhile and take only one drag. Any thoughts? It is the Silo Beast tank which uses Atlantis Ni200 coils. The mod is a Hana mod V4S.

on my goblin, i twistd 30gauge nichrome with 30 gauge nickel, i did ten wraps at 2mm if i was using a different device i would have used bigger diameter coils so it would have taken less wraps, but 30 gauge is what your gonna need for duals. i use 26 for singles

K,Thanks, I order 28 and 30 but duel is just not being stable with 26, it's great on single and even really spaced apart I am getting really good flavor but less thick white clouds

You are doing the right thing. The reason I jumped when the Evic VT came out was the direct support for Ti. The IPV3Li has an update which I hear directly supports Ti, and the IPV4 is rumored to have an undefined update coming as well. My severe nickel allergy has me Ni200 phobic ... my body did some crazy shit to metals back when I was doing the jewelry thing, so I don't mess around with anything with a Ni content (inc'l SS).

The big messy with Ti is the Ti di oxide thing. Ti di oxide is bad stuff and overheating a dry coil produces it fast. Given an understanding of that ... I haven't had much problem converting. It is pricey, but not prohibitively pricey.

Meaning?

Well, since I can't tell you anything about my man crush out here on the open boards ... I must be showing my ass by calling out the hypocrisy of complaining about VB's VU obsessive drama at VU. As in: a pot calling a kettle black. Chilax ... just roust'n ya.

Try another atty and let us know what happens.

ok, as for cleaning first. do a quick dry fire in TC mode to get it a little hot. this in turn raises the resistance of the coil enough to be able to switch to power mode quickly and do pulsing dry fires. you have to pulse it so it does not get so hot as to ruin the wire, but you cant let it col off or the resistance will be too low and you have to start all over again

I highly advise from doing this, not good for your health as it emits dangerous gases. Best way to clean is to do what @dred states and use an ultrasonic cleaner or throw them out.

I will be experimenting with Tempered Nickle, hopefully tonight if it arrives through snail mail.

Not only the oxide, but once hardened it can break into small pieces and you can inhale. As I have stated going to try tempered nickle.

@Heather ... you get that TC work'n? Reason I suggested switching atty's was the same reason Taver13 suggested your coil took a crap. The TC mods are extremely sensitive to resistance changes so many of the coils that make contact by pinching the wire between a pin and insulator can wack them out 'cause the resistance is not as stable as you need.

If you haven't fixed it, try unlocking the resistance then telling the mod you have a new coil.

i have it cranked all the way in both joules and temperature, and there is nothing there, im better off vaping the exhaust pipe of a yz125

I bet your vaping the 20pg80vg or roundtherebout like me. But, the top of your temp scale oughta be giving you that unmistakeable taste of burnt cotton. Edit: That might explain the YZ125 reference.

In their defense, I'm hoping their new vertical coil Ni200 does a better job of faking the funk.

But, thanks for making me get off my ass to walk downstairs and grab the drill bits. I just drilled two RBA Bases to see if the Billow has destroyed Subtanks for me forever. Good news is I only fucked up one of'm being lazy. See, I coulda gone into the shed and unmothballed the drill press to get'm both right. 1 out of 2 drilling freestyle is gonna have to do it. If I like it I figure I'll order a small handful of the updated, predrilled style RBA heads when MyVaporStore gets'm.

i stopped my freestyle drilling on all this stainless being used these days after breaking a bit and stabbing my handmeat. i got my billow v1 base still down in the vice of my drill press cause my lazy ass hasnt gone out to get a bit to finish the job
