The eLeaf iStick 20 or 30watt and a Nautilus is an excellent starter set up. Kanger Kbox is another. There are a lot of good options.

Mods I would recommend to a beginner -

eLeaf iStick 20w, 30w, or 50w
Innokin MVP Energy, MVP Shine, MVP 2.0, MVP 20w, MVP Pro
VaporShark rDNA
SX Mini
Vamo V3 or higher
IPV Mini
Cool Fire IV

as you said your GF does not have much knowledge in vaping, I think it is much better to choose a kit. Kanger Kbox is a good choice.

What tank is being used with the ego c twist?..Knowing this can help someone lead you in a better direction.

Its mostly the tank and the ohms of the coil that determines more or less vapor.

If she likes the battery then you have a bunch of choices for a better tank.

If you want something better in general then you have many choices as well.

My personal suggestion would be something you can grow with down the road.

You have devices that you just charge like your ego battery and cant replace....then you have devices you supply the batteries for but need a separate charger.

No matter what battery you get the tank will determine your amount of vapor.

The eleaf and MVP devices have a built in battery although much larger than what your c twist battery has...but should something go wrong with the battery itself you are stuck with nothing to use.

Devices like the Sigelei 30w mini and others, requires you to supply the batteries to operate it and because they are replaceable, you can have 2 or more charged and ready to go at any time...You dont have to be at home to charge it when it goes dead on you...you simply pop in a freshly charged battery and keep going..You can get battery cases and bring a couple with you if youre going on a long trip or whatever.

Its a little more costly for this but its worth it in the end.

The sigelei runs about $40.00
2 18650 batteries for about 11 12 dollars.
a nitecore i2 intellicharger is about 15

NOW you need a tank...your c twist probably has a 1.5ohm coil limit...so you have alot of tank options as long as the coil used is within that limit.

Aspire Nautilus or nautilus mini is probably the best standard tank made...you can get as low as 1.5ohm coils for it...more vapor production than what you get from smoking from a cig..I own this tank and the sigelei 30w mini myself and its really a great set up...I would recommend it to anyone.

I own the MVP 20w as well and paid 8 dollars less than what i paid for the sigelei ....its really a nice device and the battery lasts a good part of the day and into the next one but the sigelei is by far a superior device and worth it.

If all this is too much then just try the Nautilus mini tank with some 1.5ohm coils..I dont think it will disappoint the misses.

Her tanks is kangertech t3s...then her ohms i think is 2.4...what a good tank to use on the ego c twist?that not leaks...and produce a good smoke or clouds...

Thats supposed to be a a reputable tank...seems to me the problem is the high ohm coils you have in it...You can get lower ohm coils for it if im not mistaken...Try the 1.8 ohm coils and see if that helps any...That should produce alot more vapor.
