First ever Clapton Coil

Hey guys, just messin around and did a single Clapton Coil 24g wrapped around 24g cuz that was all I had, did six wraps on a screw driver I had that's a little smaller than a 1/8 drill bit and it measured out to around .5ohms. Ended up taking it out cuz it didn't fit under the top cap but I'll attempt it again with some smaller gauge wire. Let me know what you guys think!!

While I enjoy the challenge building Claptons - 24/24 is a hot vape I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. 30 or 32 g is a good wire to start with for Claptons at least in my experience. Once I sort of got the hang of it I stepped up to 36. If only I had more 36 looked good though man! Keep it up!

Haha yea dude, it's frustrating for sure, I gotta get the correct wire next time and do a thinner wrap and I think I'll be ok, I wanna get these down so I can attempt a Staggered Fused Clapton, they look so fuckin good haha

Yep im doing the same thing just waiting on my 38g and 40g kanthal to come in

looks like you got the wrap down packed! very nice! i do 30 on 25 im going to do a 40 on 25 here soon when the spools come in i get nice warm vapes. cant wait to see the difference between the 30 n 40. make sure you show off that staggered when you get wrapped!!

I'm still having trouble fitting it inside my barrel/top cap. A little more practice and I'll get em right, the second one I did was 28 on 24 still all I could get my hands on without ordering anything. Thanks for the support though man!!
