Unfortunately from the reviews/posts I've seen about the SMOK M80's the TC is not very good.

I know that it's not supposed to matter but what is your temp set at and are you using it with nickel wire are a standard resistance wire like Kanthal or nichrome? The temp control only works with something like Nickel wire unforchanately so it's still possible to get dry hits with standard wires
a guy at a vape shop once told me:
it works... just not the same as a DNA. when the flavor drops you gotta drop on it, you can't just rip it like a retard.
I suppose he's right.... but.... to me that's a lot like not working. get an evic vt. not the greatest TC. but a great value TC imo

Um...yeah, I guess that works...at 400 degrees it shouldn't really dry hit, the power should cut out to prevent the cotton from burning at that low of temp...but I guess it kinda works...I've only ever used DNA40 mods for temp, next month when I get a mod with a SX-350-J I plan to do a side by side on them and then when I get that DNA 200 for X-mas it will be a year end review...but I am not sure how that is temp limiting if it's burning your wick than it sounds like it kinda works but kinda gets hotter than it should at the same time....confusing bud...as long as you like it is all that matters
