steampunk meck mod and battery rattle.

I got myself a steampunk mech mod yesterday and I cant get my battery to stop rattling. i can get it to fire only when I loosen the copper pin on my switch. but with this it still rattles. how do i fix this problem? ive read that the derlin in the switch can be adjusted but i cant get the thing to budge.is this true and if so how do i go about this?

I have adjusted the 510 pin to my longest Atty and I still have to adjust my copper connection on my switch to even get it to fire. But still has significant battery rattle. Like I said I read somewhere that the derlin ring on the switch can be adjust but I can't get it to budge.

It came in a black box that says electronic cigarette mod in gold leaf. It is a clone.

The delrin on the switch is press fit. Get on the switch side and gently tap it out and then you can put a plastic washer under it to shim it out.
in regards to the button sticking,it's the coating that causes it. Use some 220g sandpaper to get rid of it. Infact it's a good idea to do this on all of the threads aswell because that coating causes a pretty significant volt drop.

So take apart my switch and tap the derlin from the backside? This would be all good and well but its all metal on the the back side....

Yup,pop the magnet out and there are two small holes for batt vent.
Fwiw,I used a couple of Tpins and a hobby hammer.

Since it's a mech, won't there always be a little rattle when the button isn't being used? Or am I missing something? #needmorecaffeine

No problem. Just keep an eye on that pin when swapping batts. Mine is a tad on the loose side and will back out a bit when I swap.

Seriously though,the first chance you get,take a wire wheel on a Dremel or whatever you have to do to get those threads nice and shiny. Also hit the contact side of the button.
you'll notice a pretty big difference in how hard that mod hits.
