So I'm brand new to not only this forum, but the while vaping community in general. I got a Gearspek American Pitbull battery with an arctic sub-ohm tank with this huge bottle of 100% VG. My question is if its even possible to vape such a thick liquid. I heard I could dilute it with distilled water? No idea, please help!

Most people use PG to thin the VG, some use small amounts of distilled water or pure grain alcohol(Everclear). I tried to vape without flavors but didn't like it.

Generally nobody is vaping plain VG. Most people add nicotine (unless you were never a smoker), flavoring made for vaping, and either PG or distilled water!

Hope you don't think me too much of a prick but there are a lot of other really neat hobbies out there.
And less expensive ones as well.
Most of us here took up vaping as a way to escape our addiction to smoking.
Vaping is a lot better and safer than smoking but it still is not as good as breathing fresh air.

I suppose if you were decided on becoming a smoker and wanted to be part of the smoking community, I would say vaping your vg would be a smarter idea. But smoking is horrible and I would hate to see you decide that vaping isn't for you then decide to go with cigarettes just to see how that turns out.
I don't speak for others on VU but I feel my vaping habit/ hobby is just a safer alternative of smoking. Which is something I wish I had never taken up in the first place but here I am.
I am not trying to be rude in any way but it's a questionable decision especially if it's for a hobby and to become part of a community as you say.
Take up guitar if you want a hobby! I got way more hot girls playing guitar on stage then I ever did from vaping lol. Good luck friend

I appreciate your input, truly! I have plenty of hobbies that I partake in such as working on my car. (Way more expensive than vaping) besides, I don't plan on becoming addicted to cigarettes, nor does anyone else, I just like the technicality of vaping. Its a whole world I was never aware of. I just want to be able to learn about different kinds of builds and progress my knowledge about all the different styles of vaping there are. It interests me! I never knew you had to be a recovering addict to get into vaping. I never intended to offend anyone either.

I find the taste of straight VG to be sweet and a little sour. Almost like an almost undetectable trace of coconut but a tiny bit sour. I find it wholly unappealing. Buy some flavoring and go to town. There are several people who work at my favorite shop that never smoked too.
Honestly the best way to find out would be to stick your finger in some and lick it
It is sweet, but not as sweet as PG, but PG gives throat hit while VG doesn't.
Yea, you could vape it plain. But it would be much tastier with flavors added to it. Doesn't even have to be much flavoring.
Few dollars for a 10ml bottle of flavoring to mix with it and you might have a great vape.
I've made some that was as high as 98% VG and 2% PG from the 2% of flavoring.

Funny, I started smoking because I thought it was cool. Started vaping because I wanted to stop smoking. Now, I never want to stop vaping. As long as you realize there could be harmful effects, vape on. At least you don't want to join the smoking community. If you're going to do it, you might as well throw in some flavor you like.Tell us what you like and we'll give you a few suggestions to try.
