I have tried all kinds of ejuice calculators, and I absolutely love the Juice Calculator by Rod Brown.

It has a ton of configuration options, it allows you to track your flavors and enter your own personal notes for them. It also calculates how much it would cost to make a juice recipe. It works on windows and linux and mac (via WINE)

It does the basics you would expect a ejuice calculator to do and then it has a few extras , like being able to export and import recipes from other juice programs.

I like it because it does really nice printouts of recipes and tells me how much flavoring, vg, pg and nicotine I have in storage. Plus it allows for a insane amount of notes, and I can customize it to death.

Actually been using that one for a month or two already! I like it so far .. wish it would allow you to adjust the amount the arrow buttons go up or down by but has been working very well for me.

I swear by this program.
It is an amazing program for DIYing and Rod is a really cool guy that listens and adds features on a regular basis.

I hope peeps show their appreciation by donating to him.
From the help menu in the program there is a link to do that.

how do you download it

No need to go to the ECF thread but there is a lot of good info in it.
Here are Rod's links to download Juice Calculator-

Dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ceu7kr789fq5wdt/Lmw4X_Xg9j
Google: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0ByHCyknRKMBCWTBwN0ZHVGM4Y00&usp=sharing

I never had any luck downloading via Google so I always use the Dropbox download.

You do not have to create a Dropbox account if you do not want to. Just click the X in the top right hand corner of the prompt when Dropbox asks you for info.

I've been mixing with a gram scale for almost 1-1/2 years now using Hot Rod's Calculator. If it wasn't for this program, I'd be going nutszo using those damn hypodermic needles and glassware crap. That stuff is so 1950's... This is a complete D.I.Y.er's dream. I donated to the cause about 6 mos. ago.. Considering how much money and time it has saved me, it's well worth it.

I frequently monitor the forum, if you have any ideas of new features send them my way.

Nice ! Program works well! .. for FA tho would be handy to have an option to 'adjust the amount' of increase/decrease for flavor percentages
(on the recipe page) .. for instance I would set that option to .25% as am constantly adjusting percentages by about that much.. (some flavors as small as .10%) but majority for Flavour Art is 1/4 of a percent. Is there a reg/config setting this could be adjusted by?

I will add that as an option in the next version.

Version 6.0.0.5 is available for download. Changes include:

1. When being saved, the JuiceData file was always being recreated rather than being updated. Changed so that the file would be updated if it already exists.

2. Add a new option on the "Ingredient default" tab of the "Tools->Options" window. You can specify an increment value that will be used on the recipe window when changing the ingredients percentage when the up/down arrow for the percentage button is clicked.

3. Add the ability to create a "flavor base" recipe and to create an ingredient entry for the flavor base recipe. See the "Edit->Create flavor base from recipe" menu item.

Very good implementation @ #2 seems to work perfectly.. - thank you! Super fast work! - this is very handy since I usually make .25 -.50% changes between batches. Haven't tried the flavor base feature yet but plan to in near future. Will b hitting up the donate option in a paycheck or two!

GREAT CALC!

@wllmc - have you tried the latest update? awesome for FA - hit the arrow button up and it will increase by the % you set rather than a default of 1% !!
and HotRod put that change in like in 1 day wooooo! plus the add recipe as a flavor option... schweeeeeet

Wicked, my only suggestion nailed and done, LOL

I just have to get my shit together and donate, once again, love this app and it even works via WINE.

It took me forever to get my flavors in, but only cause I'm a lazy ass.
