Looking for a troll free discussion about vaping.

I recently got my new vape pod. It is a UWELL CROWN X POD SYSTEM. The last thing I had was a vape pen. Which I bought at a vape shop. And apparently was charged too much for. Because back when I bought it, it cost at least $50 dollars. The UWELL pod I bought, with all the BS added for shipping only came out to about $41 dollars. And it is pretty nice. It comes with a multi colored LED display. It has an adjustable air flow and an adjustable wattage. Which goes up to 60w. For now, I have it set at 50w.

The thing is, smoking it still makes me cough. But maybe not quite as bad as the vape pen did. I am still using the same freebase vape juice. Which is 40% VG and 60% PG. And as far as I can tell, with 18mg of nicotine. Could it be the vape juice that makes me cough a bit when I take a drag? Should I switch to a nic salts vape juice to keep that from happening? Do I have the wattage set too high or does it need to be lower to make it more easy to smoke. I would appreciate any helpful advice on the matter. Which means that lady sarah or vape fan need not reply at all.

You probably did things will always cost more at a shop than online.

You could have gotten the same system for less $$$$ online.

Yep great system but I hope the coils your using can handle that high of a wattage.
Also of not I wouldn't have recommended this system for a new vapor...Just Saying!
50 watts is gonna make you cough like crazy. You might need/want something that hits at 40 watts max and keep it set to like 20ish watts.
The thing is, smoking it still makes me cough.
You mean vaping it?
Cause if that device is in fact smoking stop using it.
But maybe not quite as bad as the vape pen did. I am still using the same freebase vape juice. Which is 40% VG and 60% PG. And as far as I can tell, with 18mg of nicotine.
Whoa no wonder your coughing 18mg is way higher than what you probably need.
12mg - 16mg freebase e-liquid is going to be for serious long time smokers who smoke about a pack or 2 a day.
Could it be the vape juice that makes me cough a bit when I take a drag?
I think it is a combination of too high of nicotine and vaping at too high of a wattage.
Should I switch to a nic salts vape juice to keep that from happening?
Only if you plan on getting a different device. Nic-Salts are meant to be used in devices that generally produce very low wattage.
Do I have the wattage set too high or does it need to be lower to make it more easy to smoke.
More than likely it is way too high for what you need. Which is probably going to be in the 12-18 watt range.
I would appreciate any helpful advice on the matter. Which means that lady sarah or vape fan need not reply at all.
Honestly take any vaping advice you can get especially from people who have been vaping for years. Just so you know a bunch of starter kits would fit what you actually do need. Just ask around these forums. People here will help you if you let them.

But before we get to the help I'd like to ask a few questions.
How much did you smoke per day?
How long were you a smoker?
Do you really want to quit?

I honestly look forward to your response.

The problem is that he will reject any advice we offer, and claim his precious AI says we are wrong. Yet, I cannot understand why he doesn't just use his damned AI to get all the answers he is looking for. Afterall, he is putting more trust in AI than the very people that have been vaping for more than a decade.

1. I found that out.
2. I did get my UWELL X Pod on line. It started out around $25. But then they charged me for shipping. They then added another charge for the delivery person to make sure I was old enough, etc. By the time I was finished, the final price was $41.00. I bought it through the element vape website.
3. I finally got some nic salts vape juice. I got it with 35mg of nicotine. Apparently you can get it with 50mg of nicotine. So 35 mg of nicotine shouldn't be too bad. Trying it out, it seems to make me cough less. But maybe there is still some freebase vape juice in it that needs to burn (vape) off. Next, if the device is made to work at 60w, the coils must be able to handle it. Also, as you know, the wattage is adjustable. I turned it down to 50w. The vape seemed to still be a little bit on the warm side as compared to when I tried it at the 60w setting. I will take your advice and try it at a lower wattage setting.
4. By looking at the smoke, you can't really tell the difference between calling it smoke or steam. It may be incorrect, but I'll still call it smoke.
5. I was new to vaping. I asked the guy at the vape store to give me something that was a step below what their maximum nicotine level was for vape juice. At the time I knew nothing about freebase vape juice and nic salts vape juice. Maybe he was wrong, but he said it was a good choice.
6. As I said, I'll try the new nic salts vape juice at a lower wattage.
7. I had already sorted out the nic salts vs freebase thing. But thanks for the advice. Also, I don't think there is anything wrong with the vape pod I got. I can set the wattage to anything I want. I have heard people around here speak well of those disposable vape pods when it comes to a more mild vape. (Smoke) I wonder what kind of wattage they use.
8. Skip.
9. I am still a smoker. I had quit once for a couple of years. I could think of smoking a cigarette and still not have the urge to do so. But then 9-11 happened. I put up a sign saying. Then I got into a fight with humanzee. Who unfortunately apparently knew Kung Fu. I ended up spending a couple months in jail over it. When I got out, I was so disgusted with humanity that I started smoking again. And still do. With my feelings toward humanity having only gotten worse over the years, I have no desire to stop. The "politically correct" world we live in isn't one worth living. So if smoking kills me, so what. I wouldn't be missing out on much.

I didn't think I would do this again. But even though what you said wasn't directed at me, I will speak to you. People around here have given me advice in the past. But I still need to weigh the advice for myself. Because from what I have found, the vast majority of people aren't to be trusted. They are too stupid. And in the vast majority of cases, will fight to stay that way. For just about everything you think you know concerning the human condition, just think of what the opposite if it would be. That would most likely be the right answer. There was even somebody who wrote a couple of books about it. Which I take to be a part 1 and part 2 version. It is called, "The Book Of General Ignorance: Everything You Think You Know Is Wrong." I will show you part of why things are that way. What this person had to say was something that was happening long before he came around and is still going on.

I tried too. In post #4 I tried answering all your questions. It would appear as though I wasted my time.
really?
i only asked 3 questions.
i'll repeat them here.

How much did you smoke per day?
How long were you a smoker?
Do you really want to quit?

as for your response to those questions it seemed like nonsense.

try answering honestly this time.
