I just looked over my two favorite websites for ordering nicotine and I'm more than a bit upset.
My recent go-to, Nicotine River, has raised their minimum quantity to order 100mg from 60ml to 500ml. I had been getting 60ml per week to pad my freezer for $8 + shipping. The 500ml is $35 and though it's not a bad price for NicSelect, it's still a shot in the wallet from their previous sizes. I can't be the only one here on a tight budget.
Vaperstek sells their premium 100mg for $45 for 500ml, but I can still get a smaller size - 120ml for $20. But their throat hit nic is $45 per liter and that's the minimum quantity on that one.
Looks like I'll be ordering a lot less often....

$35 for nic you like is a really good deal. Order once a month? Same price, kinda. I'm sure shipping is a kicker, though. True bummer for the qty increase. Very weird!!

Yesterday, I was looking at my almost full 250ml @100mg bottle and wondered... I mix ~6-8mg, vape maybe 15 to 20 ml a day... will it take the better part of a year to finish this bottle?

Damn... what do some of your freezers look like?

My freezer looks like I'm gonna be vaping for a veeerrrry long time on the cheap when you're paying triple or more what I'm paying now.

I don't know that I'd trust it, if there were. Maybe from the U.K. (who are cracking down on vaping big time), Germany, France, something along those lines. But China, Hong Kong, or some other country with suspicious health practices, no.

Nine times out of ten, yeah, out of necessity. You see, we play a game at our house called "Meds of the Day". The husband's health isn't good at all, he was born with asthma - not the kiddie kind, the deadly kind. But he works his ass off for ten bucks an hour, he just goes in two hours before he's scheduled and works till the heat starts to smother him, then he leaves a couple hours early. I stay and sweat my brains out for whatever I can pilfer from the kindness of strangers and afterward, I go to the drug store and buy at least one of his medications. We're some of those who can't afford "affordable health care", so everything is the full price our lovely government and health care industry can bestow upon us and believe me, they spare nothing. Today it's an inhaler, tomorrow we tuck some away for the rent, then the next day it's allergy meds and the next is a few bucks on the electric bill. Today is Tuesday, so he has to have stomach medication, and the "kink of the week" in our finances was a hose for my car which robbed me for $167. These are a few of many reasons I quit smoking, I couldn't afford packs or cartons. We do what we can with what we have and there are priorities. So yeah, $45 is a hella lot of money around here most days, $8 smells a lot better.

One of our forum members, @BLACKTOOTHGRIN , got a little agitated when he saw the prices and quantities on the NR site yesterday and he called the guy with questions. Dude apologized and said he'd put the smaller quantities back up in a few days. Guess he came through early....

I was paying $11.94 shipped - got one every week. Vaperstek might be a little more, but I was using it before I ever tried NR and I'll continue to do so.

That's gotta be a mistake ... that bottle would surely fit in a small priority flat rate box ( with plenty of padding ) and that's only like 6$!

If that shipping price is for real, yeah, I'd look elsewhere also.

hmm perhaps it's just configured incorrectly as he put the smaller amounts up so quick - seems like he is responsive to his clientele. he might not realize that it is set there??

They have NN beat all to hell on pricing of PG and VG and they come from the same state lol I am above them both. So in September I will try them for a 60ml size of 100mg nic,1 gallon PG and 1 liter of VG. P.S. I already have a bunch of nic stored needed the PG and VG though.

The lowest option I get it $7.05 priority shipping.
Im not sure if that's good or bad in comparison to what you were paying before everything had changed (I didnt read through the whole thread ) but I wanted to see because I plan on ordering more in the future.
So I dont know if he changed it up AGAIN or what the deal is.
What seems really odd to ME is that shipping is $7.05 whether your order 60ml or 500ml.
That doesnt seem right.

He seemed to be a decent guy and was very attentive and interested in what I had to say. Doesn't mean he'll necessarily change anything, but he seemed like the kind of guy thats interested in what his customers think and considers their feedback.

• In Store Pickup $0.00
• Fed Ex Ground $11.30
• USPS 3 Day Priority Mail: $11.55
• USPS 2 Day Express: $40.15

I put 1 liter of 100 mg nic in my cart and got the following shipping quote:

• In Store Pickup $0.00
• Fed Ex Ground: $12.13
• USPS 3 Day Priority $15.50
• USPS 2 Day Express $46.00

I also ordered 240 ml of VT nic the other day and paid $12.00 for regular USPS shipping. Seems like this shipping stuff is getting a bit out of hand here. Just my $0.02

It's two cents worth of fact, though. I was getting 60ml shipped for $11.94 (I think - very close anyway), and that was with them upgrading me to 150ml at no extra charge. Out of hand is an understatement.

Ok decided to check on VT,NN,and NR for total cost of 120ml 100mg nic(or as close to that as possible),1 gallon PG(ditto), and 1 liter VG. VT with FREE shipping came to $92.00! (no gallon so only got 3 liters PG). NN came to $82.14 (they had PG in gallon). NR came to $60.91 - and they have 30ml more in the bottle of 120ml actually 150ml. NN and NR total includes the shipping. So can you see a huge difference?? I sure can.
