working in the creche years ago, i had a heated debate with another staff member about what was the proper aussie name for the evening meal: dinner or tea
so she surveyed 20 preschoolers to let the statistics speak (about 50:50)
but one girl said that she didn't know what her family call it. Norma said the kid's first ever homework was paying attention to whether her folks say "tea" or "dinner"
the following day, an upset young lily came in and said that her mum doesn't call it anything, she jut yells "Lily come down for supper!"

I don't recall seeing any of those whenever I did some work with Lincoln Telephone in the 1990s or early 2000s. Definitely didn't eat any. Looks like I missed out on something good.

Tea is, in fact, a hot beverage.
Runzas are comfort food. Local restaurant chain called Runzas but we like our homemade better. We pour brown gravy over it and for the ones I’m going to eat I add cheese, crushed red peppers and garlic Asiago powder.
The BLINDSQUIRRELS acquired a new quarterback from the transfer portal so our 5th string starting qb will be bumped down to 6th…..or 2nd…..or waterboy…..????…..nobody knows, but we’re all pretty excited about it. He has 2 arms AND legs so he’s got that going for him.
