Hey guys, I bought this kit a few days ago, the guys in the shop set it up for me. They put it on max 60w and locked the ohm for me.

It's a weird one for me as I'm used to the mvp 20w and this being a lung inhale lol.

Should it be set to 60w? I've turned it down to 35 as I just think it's too high to be running constant. I've got the temp set to 280c but what ever I change it seems I get a good hit and then a random hardly anything hit.

I have also had a slight burning taste and hot liquid being pulled through too. I read somewhere that that's more than likely the tank flooding and I should blow a little to see if it help and it seemed to a bit.

I'm using 80% vg mix at the min but I want to know if the tank I have is capable of running 100%? I got told in the shop that it won't, yet I've seen videos of people rebuilding coils and getting sub ohm from it?

Thanks guys :)

Try the clr-ti coils (rebuildable) they wick better then the regular cl-ti coils imo.
the wattage shouldn't matter to much as you are running it in temp control and the mod reduces power based on coil temp.

The mega tank doesn't wick well at all. Basically setting it to 60 watts just gets it up to temp faster. I use my VT with an Arctic tank and Ni coil and it works 10 times better than the mega tank.

I have those as well but it goes in to protections mode to damn much. I got tired of messing with the mega tank and went with the arctic. It's definitely a wicking issue with the mega no matter what coil I use.

Well, can I use 100% in the tank as it now? It's the stock coils. I know what you say about protection mode. Even since I've turned it down it seems to flash that every temp change

I am going to be getting the kit for building coils and getting a set of 5 rebuildable coils too :)

Tbh I want to try 100% vg now so I can see if it is for me. What would happen if I put it in the tank with a stock coil?

This happened to me. I discovered that the mod had gone into Ti mode on me. I switched it back to Ni and it fixed it.

yes same issue happened to me aswell. when I use the ti coils with the ti tc it works fine I just run it at 540 deg as this mod seems to run around 100 deg cooler then my yihi ones.

It was in ni mode but just changed to the stock ti coil. I changed my flavour so had to change that :( oh well I think this is gonna be a costly venture if I don't build my own as they are £3.50 a coil. Not that expensive but I'm sure I burnt the ni one out somehow lol
