Uber Noob. Please help.

I was recently given a friends old setup. As of today it doesn't fire. Idk a brand of the mod. I feel like the button isn't firing correctly.. It seems sticky. Any idea what I need to do? The battery is charged and my rda works on other mods.

Without many more details on it , I wanna guess that it's probably seen its better days and is broken, maybe why it was given away?
Because it is a mechanical, it is no doubt a broken fire button.Maybe missing internal button screw

It fired fine for a week or so.. Any more details I can give to help? Or just time to spring for a new one?

You mention spring, there is a spring in the fire button mechanism, I'll bet you maybe have an issue with that, have you dismantled it at all to check it?

I'm not good at the assembly of the mech parts as some are here, let me move your thread to the mech area where more folks with that part of it can try and help you better.

I would say get a box mod or a regulated mod I saw the cherry bomber when I bought my latest addition and that is a really cool mod but I decided on the sigelei 150w and the arctic tank.

Try tearing it apart, cleaning everything (if there's any crud in there it could affect smooth firing), an re-assembling. Let us know how that goes as a first step, or if you encounter anything that seems off when you try to do so...

OP, you may be able to find magnet upgrades for that mod, where you could do away with the spring
