US source for 100mg Benzoate salt?

The saga continues...

I've been searching for 4 years to find a quality source for this stuff.

Have ordered from numerous vendors - none of who will even tell me which acid they use to make their salt. And, based on taste, none of them are using benzoate.

The only (verifiable) benzoate salt I've found comes from the UK, is only 72mg, and is crazy expensive... $175 for a liter!

Several orders from nicbase/Delosi over the last few years has resulted in $500+ of unusable product that's been dumped down the drain.

Before I drop $350 for 2.5 liters... Does anyone have a source for 100mg benzoate salt in the US?

Pretty please, with sugar on top!

I've been using Nic River salt and have not found issue with it. I was using the smooth in my juices. My stash is at a critical low and had to bite the bullet on a order from Delosi Labs. Nic River won't ship to a home address. I hope Delosi is good quality or I might have just bought an expensive drain cleaner.

Others have not had a problem with Delosi, but I've talked with a select few that agree with me.. it smells like face cleaner and tastes like a dirty ashtray.... I've dumped over a gallon of it down the drain!

Very curious to hear your thoughts once you try it!

Did you get PG or VG? The only PG in my diy juice is what comes already mixed with the flavorings..

I called Delosi, in Florida, about their salt nic. Asked if I could get it with 100% PG, was told they quit doing the 100%PG because of low demand. I bought the 50pg/50vg. I made sure before ordering that I could work this into my calculator. I usually mix 55vg/45pg for salt nic in a pod type setup. I'll let you know how it compares to Nicotine River when it arrives.

Recieved my liter of 100mg, 50pg/50vg salt nic from Delosi Labs. Made a batch of Soho at 55pg/45vg, 9mg salt nic. Been vaping it for a whole day and from what I noticed it has no off taste, there is a slight bite to the tongue compared to Nicotine River Smooth. Maybe from how they extract the nicotine. I won't be trying it as a drain cleaner.

I'm glad it works for you!

It could be one of those things like where Cilantro tastes like soap to certain people, maybe they changed suppliers, are using a different acid or smaller amount of the acid...

It seems odd they won't offer pg as they claim to make the nic to order and stocking pg wouldn't be an issue since they sell it. That suggests they make the nic in advance and had issues with old stock... Maybe I got old stock since I get 100% VG and most get the blend like you did.

But after losing over $500 and because they won't even tell me which acid they use, I won't ever order from them again. I'd rather pay 3x for something I know I can use... From a company that's transparent about their products. I don't know why the type of acid is such a big secret here in the US... UK, Europe, and NZ companies are all forthcoming about the type of acid used - it's not like I asked for a recipe!

I'm also a super taster, so that could be part of it too. I know it's not just me because I found a thread on reddit where 5-6 others reported the exact same thing.... And Delosi told us all the same thing - that no one else reported that issue, which is clearly a lie!

I don't know... Can't get enough info from them to make an informed decision, and I caught them in a lie so I'll buy elsewhere.

Haven't made a batch for the wife yet. She likes a Strawberry salt recipe. Soho is a tobacco like recipe. It may be masking an underlying problem. We shall see what her take is when I mix her a batch using Delosi salt nic.

I do fruit flavors, so the type of juice it's used in could be another possible reason, lol. I hope it works out for her. It's been hell battling this issue.

Might be starting up a business this year. If I do that, I'll be able to buy direct from Chemnovatic and might run a side business selling their nic salts. They offer salts made with ALL the different acids. Contemplated starting a business just so I could order from them, lol Contemplated sourcing pure nic and making it myself too.

My business would be a mushroom farm and I'll need a laminar flow hood to process sterile spores, so that would make using pure nic a bit safer.
