2 Coils done in a few days?

I have the joyetech evic VT my first vaping kit.

Is it normal for going thru 2 coils in only a few days? (Apprx 5 days).

Ive been going on low temp atleast 450-500 f MAX. I dont get why im burning the coils so quickly.

As well im not getting as much air flow as I was when I first bought it. Still the same juice.

Should I switch tanks?

Sounds to me like you have a bad bunch of coils.

IMHO, you should get an absolute minimum of 7 days per head if not two weeks

What is your PG/VG mix?

How many mls are you getting out of a coil? (Some people might only vape 10mls in a week - some of us would go through over 200 mls in a week LOL) So if you're vaping at 450F are you using the Ti or the Ni coils?

@UncleRJ - PG/VG mix doesnt show on this bottle. But says volume 30ml and nicotine is 6mg

The nickle one i had the guy at VapeMeet where i live set everything up for me, tried to explain everything to me but i did not understand one word he said LOL.

As for the Titanium.. Prime means putting drips into the coil correct?

Yeah lol, well my cousin has almost the exact same one, but i dont see him run into any troubles, maybe because he had to build his.

What do you think? Should i replace the tank?

Quite frankly that tank is awful, but pretty! The holes for the juice flow are so tiny it's hard to get any sort of decent vape. I do use mine occasionally to go out, but mostly I use my subtanks. You can get nickel coils for those if you dont' want to build the rba section (and I assume that you're not ready to do that yet)!

Do you have the exact same one? EXACTLY i can barely get any decent vape compared to my cousins. As for titanium and nickle coils what is the difference?

Yes - well, I did until it died after less than a month! Quite frankly as your first setup I'd use the Kanger subtank mini with the regular coils - and set it for kanthal on the evic VT. If you've never vaped before TC can be complex. Or get your cousin to show you how it works properly, since he has the same setup.

Or you can just get the regular kanthal coils for the ego mega tank - try those first perhaps? Do you know how to switch between kenthal, Ni, and Ti on the VT?

Ive switched the Ni to Ti had to learn on my own. Never tried kenthal yet

As well is it bad if the device shows Protection everytime

Generally you see that if a) you are mouth to lung hitting (not pulling hard enough to get enough air through the coil), b) not enough liquid to the coil (which is the case with those stock coils), or c) temp too low. As I said, those coils are really no good (I have a bunch too) because the juice flow is too low (holes too small). But it doesn't hurt anything.

Which do you think is better? Kethnal - Ti or Ni?
Im trying to produce the most vape and get alot of flavor out of it

TC is more for flavor than vapor. One or the other! How long did you smoke?

That usually shows on the bottle? It doesnt say anything on mine only shows nicotine level which is 6mg

Sometimes you might find this on the website of where you got that from, might be in the description or in your order. Somewhere its documented that its a 50/50 or an HVG....

Started vaping ever since i used my cousins. I was a chain smoker and id get really moody if i didnt have a cigarette, always wanted that crave. It suprises me how vaping changed my life.

I'm in the southern US and it's freaking exploding here. Seems a new vape shop opens up every other month or so! There's like 5 within 10 miles of where I live and it's actually a pretty conservative area. I see policemen, military guys, business people, pretty much every walk of life that has ever smoked is hopping on the vape train. And GOOD for them! I'm glad to see it!
