Yoooo i do like this new rba deck all though i never had much trouble with the old one after drilling 2mm holes into it lol
This might just be me but One thing is with this new one i had to learn again with different wicking methods because when i was just wicking like my old one i was getting a slight dry hit at the end and the coil would sizzle when i stop firing so i tryed stuffing more cotton near the holes and it seem to have sorted it!
What sort of wicking have you been doing? Id like to try some more different wicking methods on this! Sling a pic on if possible! Cheers

I do what I guess is a variation on the ???kayfun method???
I feed the cotton through then pull both ears up and slide the bell down and secure it.. then I trim the ends off about 1/4" above the top of the bell.. fluff out the remaining cotton then lightly push it down into the space below.. I make sure to fill the entire area on each side and it generally ends up about 1/8" higher then the top of the side hole I pack it loosely but place it everywhere
I have zero leaking issues, and zero dry hit issues
would attach a pic but I don't have a smart phone.. mine is more a remedial education phone (can't focus on small stuff)

Yes, there's a fine line between too much and too little cotton. Too little and you get sizzle and horrible spit back. Too much and you get a dry-ish hit. To the above good advice on wicking, I would add that my final touch is pushing the blue screwdriver down to the bottom of the deck from the top on either side of the juice holes to make sure that the density of the cotton covering the juice holes is good and to create some extra airspace.
