Ive vaped before, but its only been on a shitty Mini BCC. It was a Pink Spot Mini BCC and it broke...

So now im looking to get an upgrade.

The only thing is...i have no idea what im doing.

So i need your help. Can someone find me a good build for under $75? I know $75 isnt a lot of money to work with, but ive seen a couple that im interested in.

I was looking at buying a Kanger SUBOX Mini or an iJUST 2. Which one should i get, or please give me some ideas for better ones you have in mind.

P.S. Im going through vape withdrawals. So dont recommend one that will break with it just simply just being in your pocket, like my Mini BCC did.

Thanks!

Probably the subox but ,consider you will need to invest in a decent charger as well as at minimum 2 or 3 batteries to keep you going all day.

Expect to tack on another 35 dollars or so for charger and batteries....so if you can go a little over budget it will be worth it.

Another alternative is something like an Eleaf istick 30w and maybe an Aspire Nautilus tank....the battery is built in and you once its run down you have to charge it...if you are at home thats not an issue but if it dies out on the road or while you are out you are shit out of luck...Another thing to consider is if you have a battery problem you are out of a mod as well.

Hey, man. Thanks. Like i said, im new. Could you tell me everything i would need to buy if i get the iStick? Do i need cotton, coils, and all that? Also, what kind of atomizer would work best with the istick? Im a newbie so i dont know how to build a vapor.

Thanks though. What kind of batteries and charger would i need for the Subox?

The istick and the Aspire Nautilus tank or Nautilus mini are a popular combination..You will need replacement coils i would say once a month give or take with how much you vape or with what juice you vape.

Coils are about $15 for a package of 5...i have a nautilus tank and a coil lasted me personally about a week.

So the istick 30w you can get for around $30.00...$15.00 for coils and $20 ish for the tank.

Of course, whatever you are doing for juice as well.

For the subox...you can get the Nitecore intellicharger for about $15.00..you can buy LG HE2 batteries for less than $6.00 each or better Samsung 25R batteries at less than 1 dollar more each. and i would suggest at minimum 2 batteries.

I'm willing to bet you could find a deal on the Subox for less than $60 these days - add $15 for a box of spare coils, $15 for a Nitecore i2, and $15 for a pair of LG HE2, LG HE4, or Samsung 25R batteries and we've busted your budget at a little over $100, but you'll have a pretty solid kit to start with...

Thanks for your help. I greatly appreciate it. With the iStick will i have to deal with cotton and all of that stuff? I think im gonna get the iStick, just because i cant go over budget and if i get the Kangar i didnt realize id need to buy batteries and stuff. How do you know when to replace a coil and what is the difference between them? Is there anywhere i can buy a iStick kit that includes everything or do i need to get everything individual?

Also, i have juices already, so no need to worry about that. But i heard you want to go down on the nicotine levels if you get a box mod? Why is that? Im used to 16 right now.

Also the KBox is 50W, no need for charger (It comes with a USB charger) comes with a RTA to help you learn to build.

Might want to check out Innokin's products. You won't have to buy batteries and a charger.

Cool Fire IV, or the Disrupter
iSub tank
.5 coils

You can get the (disrupter) setup for 70 dollars without coupon codes. myfreedomsmokes usually has 10 to 20% codes often.

I would go with an istick 40w TC or Istcik 30w. both can be had for under $30 if you look around online. then pcik a solid tank like a nautalis or iclear 30s or if you can afford it a kanger subtank, thena few extra coils with whats left over

You wont need cotton etc with these tanks because the coils are prebuilt for you. Just fill tank, vape for a couple weeks until flavor tastes weak or burnt, then just swap out coil. No need to build with a Nautilus Mini or other subtank style tanks.

With an older clearo like the Nautilus you'll be able to run your stronger liquid...the newer clearos with sub-par coils drink liquid a lot faster, so to keep your nic intake constant you need less of it per ml because you'll consume more ml overall.

IStick and Nautilus would work great if you're happy with the performance of your old eGo style stick batteries and just want something more reliable with better battery life. But if you want more vapor, you'll soon be upgrading and will wish you'd bought something like that Subox in the first place.

the only thing i will disagree here is needing to by the subbox. I believe dave is refferring to the subbox kit which comes with the kanger subtank. That will give you the more vapor etc dave is reffering to and can be used on an istick 30 or 40

The main difference between buying a subbox kit and say buying a istick or similar mod with a built in battery and then buying the subtank separately is if you buy the subbox you will need to buy batteries and a charger which may push it out of your budget.

You only have to deal with replacing the coil...no cotton or wires to wrap or anything..screw out old coil replace with a new one.

When the vapor production stops or it just tastes bad it usually a sign to replace it...I would expect at least one week with a coil...sometimes we get a bad coil in a package so expect that time to time.

The subox includes the device and tank but you need batteries and a charger.

The istick only includes the istick (@$30.00 range) but you need a tank...the nautilus tank is in the $20 ish range...So youre looking at $75.00 with coils as well..maybe a little more with shipping involved.

I prefer being able to replace my batteries at will...so my personal suggestion is to get the subox and go and get yourself a charger and some batteries to go with it...I recommend you try the 1.2 ohm replacement coils for the kanger tank as a replacement and work your way down the ohms scale as you see fit... it should come with a 1.2ohm and a .5 ohm coil if im not mistaken.

16mg with 1.2ohm might not be so bad..but yes if you go the .5 ohm route with 30 watts of power you will want maybe 6mg nicotine or even less.

From one noob to another, I'm coming from a knockoff pen style vaporizer, then picked up an aspire nautilus mini (put it on my knockoff battery) & that really help me quit cigs. Wandered into a local vape shop for ejuice, I had a few questions about upgrading my battery. I was leaning towards eleaf. I found out I had more options & sigelei kept popping up in our convo (as well as the kanger tech kit[battery & sub tank] & cloupor) quality, removable battery, etc. Went home & did more research. I settled on the sigelei 75w tc. Found a website that bundled the mod with a battery & a sense herakles for $93 shipped. I am VERY pleased with my new setup. I know that's a little out of your budget of $75. I believe you can just get the box mod for about $50-$60 online. Just Google sigelei 75w tc. Hope this helps.

Joey.... LOOK below at a link & comment provided by DAN, I believe. Been vaping for over 4 yrs now & based on what you're looking for & your budget.... I 100% agree.... go to VapeNW.com & pick up their Joyetech EVIC-vt complete kit for $55 bucks right now. White, black or yellow/orange. Comes with a 5000mAh battery built in, that'll last you a goooood while.. (altho rare, I'm one who actually prefers these type, NOT the removable, rechargable ones you have to carry extras of all day. BUT, many prefer that style OR will only use that style & that's ok too, to each their own. In this case tho, considering budget, etc.... I'd go w/ built in, no added expense.. imho) The full kit comes with the charger, box, everything... even comes with a good Joyetech EgoONEmega tank in a matching color.... that holds 4ml+ of liquid & 2 coils for you to try with that box mod. One is titanium wires... the other nickel. If you read the manual & watch a few reviews (watch the vaporchronicles... very descriptive & detailed, step by step!) it's easy peasy, fill & go. The only thing you'd need after that (since you already have liquid... note about that at the end) is replacement coils. You can get the titanium OR nickel ones if you end up liking them... OR a pack of 5 replacement coils for the EgoOne Mega in regular kanthal.. that have several "ohm" options, depending on what you like (might want to get the higher ones, based only on what you're used to..... tho I switched over to 0.5 ohm shortly after trying one of these sub ohm style tanks long ago) If the airflow is too open for you..... can always just close it off some until its where you prefer it to be & wherever it tastes best. ESP for the money & for what you're looking for................... that device will last you for quite some time (without having to run out & buy something else because its not enough or.... not what you were looking for) It pretty much does all you'd need. IF, for some reason you don't like the tank..... you can always pick up ANY tank to go on it........ even your older iSmokaBCC clearomizers, Evod, Protank, iClear16/30s, what have ya.. No cotton or anything else is needed for these style tanks. OH & about the liquid, IF using a sub-ohm style tank (anything w/ coils under 1ohm, usually) they say to cut back your nicotine because, as others mentioned, you'll be going through liquid quicker & therefore using more of it, in total throughout the day. SO... if you were using 16mg from somewhere... try it. IF too strong, maybe go for 12mg. I still use 12mg in sub ohm style tanks to this day, all day, so.......... it's all good. =) Hope some or all of that helped. Best of luck in whichever you end up choosing. LIVE LONG(er) & VAPE ON!

I vape with an eleaf istick 30w and kangertech subtank nano...it comes with charger. Tank comes with 2 coils..extra o-rings and extra glass for tank. Got whole thing shipped from mount baker vapor for around $65.00 with free bottle of juice.

I am thinking of going to the 40w temperature controlled (tc) for a little better vape and longer battery life.

Unless you are dripping...i would say you don't need anything stronger than 40w
