Innokin's new Disrupter Temp Control w/Kanthal

Innokin just announced they will be producing a new temp control technology for kanthal. It works with a temp sensor in the atomizer, and maintains true temps within 5 degrees F.

Battery is 3500mah

They also plan on making it an open system so anyone can build an atomizer device for it without paying licensing fees.

Would be cool if they could make a sensor that could be added to any existing atomizer.

Andy is at the show in LA. I told him to talk to Innokin for us to carry it. I was interested in this from the get go. He has a relationship with Innokin already so lets see if he can get a pre production model to try out.

Innokin_Paul is at ECC showing the mod right now. He said there were some kinks to work out in the device and some marketing decisions to make. When a new device passes Innokin's QC, they seem to be able to get it out in mass quickly. I don't know for sure, but I believe they are working on a couple different mods for TC, not just this one.

Of he does I got dibbs!!
I'm sure eventually if innokin doesn't make the sensor available for any atomizer, a third party will do it in not time....ijoy?

Funny how they were supposed to do a dna40; I think the collided iv was supposed to house that board.
The fact that they scratched evolv makes me respect them more.

TC capability is awesome, but Innokin should also consider upping the Mah of the LiPo battery system too.

If they kept the same form factor, they would have to sacrifice low ohms for high mah, otherwise make a bigger battery. The disrupter battery is not too bad. Mine last about as long as two 18650's vaping at .25 @ 4volts. Swapping batteries takes 3 seconds.

What Robert said, plus you know the tech will end up in an MVP at some point; which, is days of vaping. plus the disruptor is intended to have different size batteries available for it. that was the original plan. Its meant as a control platform that you can customize-small battery for short trips and bigger for a longer duration.

Innokin makes good quality products, but personally I'm not into proprietary battery packs... Or propriety anything, really.

Since 18650 batts are about 6 bucks each, and these Innocells are the equivalent of 2 18650s, and cost 15 bucks, that doesn't bother me. The innocells seem more practical anyway, being able to plug them into a usb port to charge. Forgot to mention, the new TC Disrupter battery is supposed to be 3500mah.

As far as the technology goes, that won't be proprietary either. Here's Innokin's announcement and Q&A page. Innokin's idea is that it's time atomizers become somewhat "smart", so it can send precise data back to the mod's computer, which means the 510 connector we are all used to, has to change. But has to change in a practical way so it is easily adopted for those who want to offer this technology.

Has anybody done a review on this mod yet, who will have it first.

I hope that the connector is an improvement over the 510. 510 was made for cig-alikes and is not a very good choice for the devices we use now either mechanically or electrically. Maybe this is the push that will give us a better 510.

Do something about the 4 screws on top of the battery. Makes it look cheap.

this looks cool, but im surprised to see all the small displays that continue to be released on new mods. IMO joyetech has upped the bar as far as displays go.

the sensor in the atty does sound pretty cool, but its also just more that could possibly fail on you when your needing that vape.

would be great if they also made smaller capacity innokencells for those that would like to trim that form factor down a bit.
