Trying to decide on my second setup...

Currently I'm using an eVic VT with the eGo One Mega tank it came with. I actually really like it a lot but it's not exactly easy to carry around with me when I go out, go to work, etc.

I'd like something a little smaller but still has decent power behind it and I'm not sure where to even start looking. I don't have the knowledge (or dexterity) to really build anything my self (yet!) so something that is simple to set up and I can just fill up with liquid and go.

A good, trust worthy site to order from would also be helpful.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

well a similar device that is smaler would be the ipv d2 or sig 75tc
but you need to carry extra batteries with you

the tank will work fine on them if your happy with the tank

Two of my pocket carry setups have been the Vapor Shark DNA30 with a Subtank Nano and the iStick 30W with either the Subtank Mini or the Nano. Of course, these aren't TC and I don't know what wattage range (if you're doing wattage/voltage based vaping) you're in to. For TC in a smaller form, take a look at the iStick 40WTC with a Subtank Mini combined with the Ni coils.

As Mattp169 recommended, those are great choices as well....but it does require external batteries.....not sure if you're good with this and the extra costs. Also, like he said, your current tank will work fine with these mods.

But again, need to know what your current settings are and how you use it so that we can help more.

The tank I have is fine but I'm never against getting new things! I usually vape any where from 30-40W depending on the liquid I'm using. Right now the setting I'm on is 30W. The temp is different, again, depending on the liquid. Some flavors I like warmer than others but I'm not opposed to getting anything that does not have TC.

The extra cost does not bother me at all (as long as it's not crazy expensive) Carrying something like an extra battery also isn't a big deal.

Sorry if I'm not giving enough/the right information I know a little more than the average person about this but I'm no where near an expert.

Uh huh...so nothing gold plated I see

You need some options....so I am going to go with what Mattp recommended. I haven't used those mods myself but the reviews are great and I have mods from both companies that are excellent. I still stand by the iStick 40WTC as well if you are in the 30-40W range. This mod is only a little bigger than the iStick 30W and will fit easily into you purse, pants pocket, or jacket pocket without being obnoxious in hand size.

However, do you have a local vape shop near you where you could handle some of these mods (or the ones I mentioned or others?) I asked a similar question a few months back on another board which led me to buy both the Vapor Shark and the iStick 30. I like both of them for different reasons. But had I handled them both before purchase, I would have bought one over the over and saved money in doing so.

I've discovered that vaping is a journey and certainly not a destination! Buying new gear is part of this (as you know) and you will be "on the hunt" for the "perfect mod for you" for awhile. I've been vaping for a little over 2 months now and I "think" that I have finally found the box mod/tank combo for me. But the search for a pocket carry continues....

Thank you so much. I will definitely look into all of these as a starting point! I do have a vape shop I like going to and they have a ton of kits and mods and what not I'll be asking if they have any of these or anything close.
Getting even some starting points is really helpful thanks, guys!

KBox....I forgot about that one. From what I've heard and read it is a solid mod. The only problem that I have with it personally is the preset wattages. No settings other than what Kanger defines. The new Subox Mini is a great box though! I had one for awhile and really got into it. Two more for the list CloudQueen!

Good luck on the hunt for your next mod! We can offer a lot of help in order to help you narrow down your choices, but to me, this is a lot like buying a guitar due to all of the options and choices! Even when you've decided upon options and you think you know what you want, you really don't know for sure until you hold it in your hand and use it the way that you want to. Jimmy Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and David Gilmour all use the same guitar....but do they use it in the same way??

Good luck on your search - plenty of nice suggestions here already! One thing you don't mention - are you using the temperature control function, or vaping based on power (wattage)? Some of the lower-priced mods won't do temp limiting, but if that's not a deal-breaker for you they could be the way to go...

Really it depends on your power needs and what you want as far as battery life.
That evic vt has a ton of power and battery for its size.
I swap between a hexhom2.1 and an sxmini m class usually but when i want a small pocket size setup I grab a vaporshark dna30 or DNA40 usually the 40 because of the battery and it's almost the same size as the 30. I also usually have a small tank on it to keep it compact. I use either an erlkoengin nano with it that or am aquav2.
The innokin coolfire iv is another really awesome looking mini mod.
If you need or want more bang out of it than 40w I would look at the sigelei75 or the ipv2. I don't have either of those...yet. But if I were in the market I would check for reviews, and ask current owners.
There are a tin of those small form factored mods out there now!

I started with the TC but found that doing it by watt was a better vape for me for some reason. I'd rather spend on something (again, nothing too crazy) then get a cheaper one.

You guys are awesome with the info by the way! I was hesitant to post and was going to just look over other posts and try to make a list myself but I'm glad I asked

Look. I'm not expert with TC either, and I don't know the evict at all, but on the yihi and DNA boards I've found the TC vapes to be thicker and more flavorful if I drop the wattage a tad and turn up the temp to the 500-520° range . depending on what I'm using.
On one of mu Atlantis coil tanks I use TC and had it at 38w and 450° I changed it to 32w and 520°
Worlds apart performance wise and a totally stellar vape.

Just throwing it out there.
