I just ordered the IPV D2!

Hi people. I found a shop in the UK, that had IPV d2's in stock!

Probably because they was an extra £10 than other shops, so the device was just under £55.

I did not mind paying this though, as my normal shop had no idea when the next shipment will be arriving, they said maybe next week, but 'maybe' is not good enough for me, so I used another shop called vapetime. They seem more expensive, but in this situation, they was the only stockist with these still in, I had to do it.

I borrowed £60 until next Saturday, and even with all the mods, tanks, dripper and batteries I have bought, I still have saved at least £800 from quitting smoking.

I just can not wait to get this, it will probably arrive on Tuesday, as I do not think the shop works saturday, if It did I would have it Monday. But I have gone for first class recorded delivery, so it can not 'accidentally' get lost in the post, I have to sign for it at my end, or the shop has to send me another one if there is not my signature, so it cost and extra £4, but it is insurance for actually getting the device, and not some grubby postman stealing it ( Not all postmen are grubby, I just meant ones that thieve lol, me and my postman get on great :)).

So, are there any issues I should be looking for on this device? I also have a Nemisis clone on the way from China, as I realised in my what should I get thread, If it did really get regulated, a few mechs would be the best bet, as there is nothing to go wrong. What can go wrong, I can replace myself.

Well, I currently use the Sig75 as my ADV, but this may change as I like the really small size of the IPV. I have small hands, and with the right mod, this would be the ultimate stealth vape. People will see my hands rise to my face, a few seconds later plumes of vapour. I hope there is not a religious gathering, as they may believe I am the antichrist breathing out smoke from nothing lol.

So, Any IPV D2 owners, or any who ALSO have the sig 75 to compare too? I did notice the tab and sping, but I am quite handy so could fix that myself if it went wrong quite easily.

I was explained in power mode on the test units that 7 watts was putting out more power than would be expected, they think its was going straight to DC mode causing an increase in power.

I Hope the issue is ironed out, as I will use TC, but Power mode is a big thing for me, due to its small size it could become my ADV along with the sig 75.

I also like how it can use nickel 200 or Titanium. I was advised to stick to nickel though, due to possible risks with titanium when burnt? I do not believe that 30-40 watts in TC mode is enough to burn the wire into releasing Titanium Oxide though, and due to a possible nickel allergy the TI seems best for me.

Roll on Tuesday, I really can not wait!

Hi
I got my D2 two days ago..its truly amazing this little well built compact mod packs a punch of up to 75w..haven't the need to try any Titanium or Nickel builds yet as it really hits good at 55w with the Maganus tank and .25 coil..
Batt life is better than expected lasting almost all day on a single charge ..Mine came with a silicon sleeve that protects it from scratches. I'm also using the supplied charge cord plugged into a 5v wall charger via USB..
Little red light goes out when fully charged, usually under 2hrs...
All in all it's a great little mod..

If I am honest, I can't use nickel as i have realised it irritates my throat, so the IPV is so I can use Ti wire safely. What type of Ti do I need to use?

It will also get a lot of use in power mode. Wow, 55W and nearly all day? My sigelei last about 5 hours at that power, I have a feeling I may be more than impressed with this. Also being able to try TC without getting a sore throat after the third hit will be great.

A samsung 25R will be fine to power it won't it? I've also got some of Efests latest batteries, I am waiting for test results before I use them properly though, Jon from Li-on wholsesale will test them when he gets them. He said to expect 20 amps, but maybe 25 if we are really lucky. If they are 25 amp at 2900MAH, I will use these in it.

I also have a LG HG2, but it does not seem to last any longer than a 25R in the sig? Hopefully the IPV has better regulation and does not tax the battery as much, I will only be using it around 40 watts max, so 15 less than you, so it may last me all day?

I will be glad to have the sig and the IPV to compare, but the size of the IPV is what made me get it. It is TINY. Apart from a mech with a 18350, I don't know much smaller than that, and it is 75 watts, with joule control and does Ni200 plus titanium!

So, which sort of titanium wire do I actually need to use? I have not ordered any yet, I will be using the mod in power mode with kanthal for a week, temp control after next saturday as I get payed and can order the tiatanium wire.

I usually charge my batteries on my nitecore, but may just put one in and swap it weekly and use onboard charging on this. It has a good chip so I feel safe doing that. I don't know what chip is in the Sig, so have topped the battery up, but feel safer using my nitecore.

Can't recommend anything about Ti wire as I haven't tried it yet..
I run the 38A/2600 mAh IMREN batt in the D2 with good performance...I don't chain vape it so batt life may be different for you depending in how much you vape it..even at 40w
I've got a couple dual batt box mods I vape in rotation so I'm not constantly hitting the little D2..
But it is powerful! Amazing we can get up to 75w in such a small compact little mod..it's great

Yeah that is what sold it to me, its size. I only own the Sigelei 150 as a more powerful device, the 75, and the missus has a Sig 50. I did have the 30 watt mini, but it has broken, this will be my first pioneer mod.

A bit different the charging pin, but using that is fine as I have a 5 volt wall adapter, I will use that.

Can anyone advise what type of titanium I should be using for the TC mode?

Yeah, this little mod uses a round 3.5 mm charging pin...not the micro USB ...
Its working perfectly, fully charging the batt in the mod under 2hrs connected to a 5v wall charger..(when the little red light goes out) can't say enough about this amazing powerful little mod..
In fact I'm thinking about ordering another one..

Practically every battery is more expensive and performs worse than 25Rs, I don't know why people even bother buying anything else at this point.

I love mine. Only downfall is the batt life. I use subohmcell and have already used 3 fully charged batts 2day. I run mine on 40 joules and use the ni200.5 coils. Other than that it's a gr8 tc device!

That's odd you get such poor batt life..
Running the 38A/2600 mAh IMREN batt I get about 7-8 hrs vaping the .25 coil in the Maganus shown here at 50w..maybe TC mode needs more voltage? I haven't tried nickel or Ti builds yet so I don't really know for sure...but it is indeed a great little mod!

I ordered my d2 on Friday from wake and vape. Says will be here today. Can't wait. I already own a ipv4s which I really like. Im taking the Atlantis 2 that is on it with the nickel coils and using on d2. I ordered a uwell crown for my ipv4s from fast tech. Just waiting for it to ship out. Wake and vape had a great combo package and the fact it's small. I can take to work and replace my subox mini. Only thing I've read bad on the d2 is ohms jumping never reading the same. Idk.

What do think about that silicon sleeve? Gonna keep it on? It's a pain to take it off for a batt swap but it does protect the mod from scratches...I'm still using mine..
Glad it showed up today! Its a great little mod..

I'm happy wit it. Yea I'm keeping the sleeve on even tho it has a cf skin underneath. I work around machinery so I don't want it hitting anything while in my pocket. I like the fact it tight like a tiger. Lmao. But yea it's staying

I'm with you in keeping the sleeve on..I sorta like the way it feels and knowing it's protected from scratches..noticed it was easier to slide off this morning for a batt swap too..

Can't compare it to other sources but I can say that I've had very good results with the 26g TI wire from StealthVape.co.uk. Handy for you as well.
