Evic VT or M80 Plus?

Dno whether im in the right discussion but am curious to ask about these two different mods. I know the specs for both but what makes me curious is the price. Is it because of the quality? Which is better and what are the cons?

I don't own either, but the consensus is Evic hands-down. Smok M80 seems like a decent wattage mod (and I'm still tempted to grab one just because I like the form factor), but the temp limiting features have been widely panned by the TC folks, which is a camp I'm not a member of...

Interested in temperature control? Evic. M80 claims TC but it's no where near what vapors consider TC. It does something in TC mode but not TC. A relative has one and says it's plagued by automatic wattage drop as batteries die.

Finally found use for M80 while working on my garage door last weekend. Lol. Don't get me wrong, device great for 80w, would never use for TC, yes tried and is not TC. VT and D2 are daily until DNA200 arrives, VT is current favorite.

Welcome to Vu!!!
I don't own either one. But, from what I've got seen and heard from users, I would go wto with the evic VT, and now they have the evic vt mini, which is upgradeable via USB and uses a replaceable 18650, if I were on the fence between the two I would DEFINITELY go for the evic vt mini for those reasons alone.
Also the mini uses two buttons rather than the toggle wheel, which is another good improvement.

Both have issues.
M80 is not TC, it is more like the original eVic's rvv/rvw except you can't program your own and are stuck with what they put in there and what they put in there is assbackwards.
According to Pbusardo's review VT's temperature is consistent but inaccurate. Others have found when it's first turned on it will hit at 30w no matter what it's set for. You probably won't notice if your build is for over 30w, can fry your build if you're set up for lower. Can't be upgraded so this is there unless they've quietly fixed it in later releases.

As a power mod M80 isn't bad, battery time is pretty good. The form is bulky even though it's the same size as iPV4 the squareness makes it feel bigger. But you wanting TC excludes it.

I did not mention VTC mini, but would recommend this over others, left out as M80 and VT are larger non replaceable batteries. Personally the D2 is great, swapping out batteries is easy. The D2 has funky non standard usb charge. Both the VT and M80 will have good battery life 100% VT between the two. The VTC with replaceable batteries and small size will be in great. The VT wheel is much easier to use the D2 and the upgradable firmware and two buttons will be nice change. I would personally go with VTC and carry extra battery. Too small for some though.

And you were the biggest fan of the Subox Mini man! What happened to you?!?! LOL....

I would like to know how you get those Hermetic Steam decals though! I have a similar bolt faced design on other things but that one is would turn some heads.....

And to the OP....Evic for the TC win between the two options....

I am an e-Vic VT fan boy I love the plug and play simplicity of it 5000Mah battery and TC for both Ni or Ti the build quality is also on point don't let the paint job throw you off under that is an all metal construction and have never had a problem out of it!
