The best thing to do is start at a low temp and keep turning it up untill you find your sweet spot everyone is diffrent ..

If 155c at 20j works for you, and 160c 20j burns your throat, I'd say you already found your sweet spot.

well alot depends on your atty
airflow and coil make a huge difference
for example using my maganus WITH LOTS OF AIRFLOW and the stock .15 DVC coil I can turn my temp up to max and 50J and its fine

On a kanger subtank mini with less airflow then the maganus, I can build a Ti coil on it at about .22 and run that at 75J and 500F before it starts feeling hot
however on the same tank using the stock Ni200 coils at .15 I find anything over 20J at any temp is TOO HOT for me

the more airflow you have, the harder it is for it to actually get to the temp you set.

The beauty of adjustable mods... trial and error...

It's just a number after all, so keep playing with it, and see what you like.

TC is really a difference experience than wattage mode, so it's hard to say, "If you like wattage X then you will definitely like temperature X." Not really a one-to-one relationship.

ita really a trial and error thing, even across the range of atomizers and builds. With identical builds I like 500 degrees and 48w on one atty and 480 degrees and 55w on another. Its just something you have to play with till you find what you like.

The airflow and design of the atty, and coil placement; at least thats my speculation kind of like when people ask me 'how do I blow big clouds?' Its not just having massive power, thats only part of it. The build, placement of the build and airflow along with juice composition all have a hand in it.

do you ever think that a device is able to get a more accurate feedback of resistance change on one atty versus the other?

Ummm, im sure the connection stability in some is worse than others. I know the kf4 is terrible for tc because of the nature of the connections. As to the actual feedback ..... I got nuthin

Using the factory Ni coils in an arctic tank, my temps seem to slowly creep up as the coil breaks in. 450f/232c for the first day or 2 then I crank it up to 525f/274c seems to be the happy spot for max vg juice for me. I don't particularly enjoy a hot vape but the vapor produced below that point isn't satisfying.

My sweet spot is where I do not feel burnt that is at 155c?

Well, that equates to about 310 Fahrenheit, and that's a nice cool vape temperature without being wimpy... so sure, if that works for you, that's your "sweet spot."

With my particular mod, tank, and coil, I'm running around 350F, which is also a rather cool temp that can still manufacture a good amount of vapor for me. It also depends on the juice. I'll dial it down for a fruity vape, or dial it up for a creamy or tobacco flavored vape.

Remember bud, there's no right answer! It's okay to have uncertainties in life :)

@Mattp169 different juices and the ingredients used to make them play a part as well. Some juices just taste better at higher or lower temperatures than others. I have one juice that tastes fantastic at 360 degrees, but another that doesn't taste good until about 450 degrees. The type of coil you use also plays a part in that, my juice on titanium (which I have tried but don't actually use regularly) tastes different than it does on nickel at comparable temperatures.
