Help in upgrading to a Box Mod

I need help is deciding what box mod I should upgrade to. I currently run a FU Hatton with a Mutation X v4 and an Arctic sub tank. I use the tank the majority of the time with the .5 coil as dripping ends up being a hassle for me. More for convenience and battery life, I want to purchase a box mod. I am looking for a box that uses 2 18650's and like the variable wattage/volt/temp control options given with a box. Although I like the cloud, I would lean a little more towards flavor. Conservation of e juice is a consideration. It amazes me how you can watch the tank empty with each vape using the .02 coil on the Arctic. I realize this is a fine line. DYI juicing may offset this and is certainly within my capabilities.
I have looked at the iPV 4S and the Sigelei 150 TC and lean towards the Sigelei. The total wattage on these are more that what I would need but the adjustability down would seem to get me more in the range of where I would be using it. For the juice I use, a DYI, I am more in the 35 to 55 watt area for best flavor. I don't completely understand the voltage adjustments the box mods offer and am wondering if the adjustments on the Sigelei that list only going down to 6.4 is too high for my application.
I want the box that has the latest upgrades. the market is changing so fast here that I don't necessarily want something out of date in that respect.
Any suggestions and education towards the right box would be appreciated.

I think you've got a good start as far as your mod choices. I'd personally go with the Sigelei, my 100 v1 is outdated several times over but still performs like a champ.

The mod, however, won't control your liquid consumption. That's based on your coil and power level...more power equals more liquid vaped.

Both of the mods you mentioned are good, but if upgradability is a priority to you, I'd go with the IPV4S or even better the IPV3Li. The Sig 150 TC is very nice, but as far as I know, doesn't have a data port so it's not upgradable.

Thanks for the recommendations. what would you say are the major differences between the v3li and v4s. I see an increased wattage of 165 and firmware available that increases to 200. also looks like they have replaced the ball bearing door on the v4 with magnets on the v3

thanks for the recommendations. it seems a lot of people like the Sigelei and have good things to say about the brand. I threw liquid consumption in as a side note and understand what you say. What I don't get is the difference in cloud between the .2 and .5 on the Arctic. Although the .2 consumes more, I don't notice any appreciable difference in cloud. What I notice more is an off flavor on the .2 after vaping on it a couple times. Not sure if I am just chain vaping or the Arctic cant keep up and am getting a dry hit. I don't experience this on the .5 but did have to replace it after 2 weeks and noticed the cotton was burnt.

To me, the IPV3Li is a better built mod. The 3Li is built like a tank, and it has held up well to being in my pocket 8 hrs a day while I work. I also like the option of using the touch sensor to fire it when driving. The battery door in held in place with a ball bearing, not magnets, but it works well. The old IPV3 had screws that had to be removed to change the batteries out. I like my 3Li so much, I plan on buying at least two more soon.

So I have looked at all of those mods too, but the reality for me is that they are too big for my hands. That said, the real point is that these mods, as well as most others with comparable specs, are all going to function well for you at the 35-55 watt range. What I would recommend is that you go to a local shop and figure out which mod fits your hand best and is most comfortable to you. It may turn out that you find a mod you like better than any of the mods listed in this discussion so far. As for upgrades, like the 165 watt to 200 watt update, if you are going to be in the 35-55 watt range with it, what does it matter? Don't get lost in the shiny new features and let them distract you if they are features you will never use anyway.

With regards to the Sig vs. IPV discussion, my personal preference is the IPV3Li. I love the touch sensor on it, and I like the menu better than that on the Sig. It also feels nicer in my hand as well. If I could get past the overall size and was going to pick one of these up, it would be the IPV 3Li.

Just my $0.02 on the subject, ymmv.
