That's like when I lived back in Portland, every Thanksgiving at noon the local rock station played Alice's Restaurant. The LONG version! We all stopped what we were doing to listen.
Who remembers TV Guide
Every year of my adult life, I was subscribed to TV Guide. Until we moved out here to the middle of nowhere. There's no TV out here, much less TV Guide. We had to get satellite, and it has its own guide. But I remember going through the paper TV Guide and highlighting all the shows in the coming week that I wanted to watch.

Back in the late 1990s, Benny Hinn would show up on TV and in the Guide. I contacted them, informing them of their typographical mistake. I still wonder how many got upset about the listing for their favorite televangelist being titled The Benny Hill Show.

Oh. LOL! Now that you mention it, I can see the little hole at the top indicating it's a calendar page. I didn't see that before. All I could see were those wonky rear wheels, ROFL!

Who remembers Fritz the cat
Funny story - I was in high school when Fritz the Cat was playing at the local drive-in. My boyfriend took me to see it (ooooohhh! It was X-RATED!), and by some fluke, we got in. But when we were headed to the concession stand for cokes, I heard a shrill, loud voice: "LANNIE!!!!!" I spun around and there was my MOTHER, with her boyfriend, sitting in a car a few rows up from where we were parked. She said "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" and (one of the few times in my life I had the right comeback at the right time), I answered, "What are YOU doing here?" Hmmm... no answer. We went and got our drinks and watched the rest of the movie, and presumably, so did mom and her boyfriend. It was a bit awkward, though.
How many remember these? I hear VW is threatening to come out with a modern version, like they did with the beetle.
