Ipvd2+mutation v3

I just picked up a ipvd2 as my first box mod. Never learned the ohms and stuff. I all was used a Manhattan with my mutation 24g dual parallel nichrome. Now I tried using my mutation with the same build and I can't use it on my ipvd2 because it's saying low resistance. What gives?

It's a good thing you didn't blow up your mod and yourself. Yes, learn the ohms. Use steam engine. It's your friend.

You were using a mech without knowing ohms and stuff? Come on man!

Basically a friend gave me a mod that a local Vape shop did the build for him. I just followed what he gave me including the type of coil and been using since and followed the built that was on it. Figured he has some so called pros doing it and he was using it for quite sometime, I was thinking "oh ok. If he was using it then it was fine". That's y I thought a box works the same way. But I can pick up thinks quickly. I didn't think even the width of the wrap mattered. It's very interesting now that I know something's. I picked up a ohm reader today and made builds after builds to learn the ohms and stuff. And now knowing the 24g nichrome 80 dual parallel was pushing .1 ohms, now I know why the box wasn't reading correctly.
