Mom didn't want a burial and my sister has her ashes, but I visited and left flowers at her Mom's and brothers' graves.
Spent time "talking" with her here at home. I do that every day yet.

Ever since my own mum left this world very prematurely, I have encountered her in dreams, and I've told the story of the Halloween when I set up a "Day of the Dead" dumb supper, and the next day she called me on the phone. I said is it really you? What's it like where you are? She said "no two days are alike here".

Very weird, but not at all scary. Anyway, I still see her in dreams very often. Never see my dad.
