Alright FF- you do have a legit issue w/the way-too-long time it has been between now and when you paid. But instead of all the bluster and animosity, why not try to be patient just a little longer. He has stated to you, me and to the forum at large that you'll get your goods (told me it would be to you by the end of the week).

ETA- Have you not been sent a photo of proof of shipping? Have you not received several recent messages?

You can put a claim in with PP after a certain amount of days to get your money back

If you put in a dispute w/PP just be sure no mention of ecigs, etc. is made. And know now that by "saving" $2.40 by using family/friends, you lost a lot of clout. Someone else already mentioned that if you paid PP via a credit (not debit) card you may have some recourse through them.

I don't think there is any way to contest a friends and family transaction, that's most likely why he asked for that.

Never ever ever ever do a F&F transaction unless it's such an insignificant amount it wouldn't matter if the product ever showed up or obviously if it is truly a friend.

Cobalt may have a good angle on this, if you paid F&F by credit or debit card... maybe you have a chance through your bank. That has to be within 60 days of the purchase.

fq06 brings up another good point that I missed (and shouldn't have, considering I once contested a bad debit card charge for a magazine subscription), and that is even if a debit card was used, some banks (BB&T in my case) will work with you on fraudulent debit card charges. Now whether this transaction qualifies is best left to the bank and the card holder to sort out.

I want to make a statement about our "friend" from Arkansas. He is a sorry, shit-eating, hillbilly. There is no excuse he could possibly come up with, to explain away not mailing my stuff for three weeks. None. It's all over now, and it's a little let-down, because I just dropped in to check out this site, happened upon this ad, and the rest is history. I met so many of you, and liked you all. I'm going to stay and become a real member, if my fingers hold out.
What I found out. PP had a good attitude, and really was the answer to my problem. I guess they froze $75 in whatever bank he used, as I'm sure my $75 was long spent, and that was what got him moving. He had to show proof of sending me "something" - probably a rock in a box would have done it. Thing is, they must have told him it was going to take up to 10 days after that before he got his money back.Wish I could have frozen it for the next 3 weeks - then we'd have been even. Any way, I did have recourse through PP credit, if this hadn't gotten resolved at this level, because I did use PP Credit for this purchase. Alas, it's all gone now, so is all my money. I can't spend anything else, no matter how bad I want to, or what a good deal I might miss.

It's a shame, because I NEED some Genesis tanks.Just can't stand it! I'm so far past the Nautilus' I was happy with for a year! If I'm not sucking on a Genny, or a subtank, I can't stand myself. My Subtank has a broken glass, but two come tomorrow, or the next day. but the RBA deck is broken, so I can't build on it, but coil heads last awhile, And I'm gonna take a shot at putting new coils in one. I have two Aga-T's, both need glass, and my favorite, a Smok Rsst, somehow got stripped threads, but I'm going to try some JB Weld on it. On the bright side, I have the new Delta II I received today (wanted one, but I don't much care for it), and a Heracles (love it), which I smoke on a Smok X Pro M 80+ (love it, too). I have about 15 or so Nautilus tanks, and have my wife on them, and now my step-son (who lives with us) just started on one of them.

So, I'll keep on keepin' on, and hope to be talking with you all. Don't forget your new, old friend.

For your info, three days into this ordeal, when I noticed he hadn't posted it sold, I PM'ed him, and told him if he didn't do so, and get my stuff on the way, I was going to do a post on it. I then gave him two more weeks, with no results, before doing so. I think you should put yourself in my shoes, before criticizing me, and think about what you'd do in the same circumstance. I think you're on the wrong side of the fence, so "git off my lawn"
