Getting in (here) seems to be getting worse. Even when I can, clicking to see newly posted threads is enough for the screen to go blank. I doubt VU is stable enough to be viable for very long.

I tried getting on here earlier and couldn't. Same with yesterday. Its becoming a hit miss type of thing. It's really getting old.
If you look at the bottom of the page it says Xen Factory 2015 to 2026. Does this mean vu will no longer be if it isn't updated or whatever.

More OOOOOOOOOOOmph for my bucks, so to speak.
The forum format is almost completely dead as you can see from this and other once-popular vaping forums and all other forums save for a few here and there that are extremely niche. People want only to use social media 2.0 now because there are apps that make it easy and the format is quick communication.

I have been trying to back it up to Backblaze, tried a few times to restore to a new server, but kept getting a " no file detected issue.
I'm resorting to a manual upload, so it's taking a bit, since I have other sites that also take data.
I would list them, but then that would defeat the objective of being anonymous.

TikTok, reddit, and other such apps are a big downer for older folks. Those apps are overrun with blue haired kids with septum rings that have it in for anyone they consider to be boomers... to them, anyone over 40. Those kids are so stupid... we told them to go play in traffic, and they did. They protest in traffic, and wonder why the police pepper spray them and haul them off to jail.
