I've had a great experience with the Lemo2, and Billow v2, for flavor and vapor. I'd have to admit that the Billow outclasses the Lemo2 in vapor given it's a dual coil set-up, but both are lovely. My Kayfun's have always been great for flavor, as well, though more for the MTL type.
Waiting on my Cthulhu V2...

kayfun v4 hands down wins best flavor but i couldn't get mine to stop leaking. I have lemo v2, aerotank v2 and subtank mini in rotation right now and really considering buying another kayfun v4 if i can get one for cheap. Getting excellent flavor from subtank mini.
Kayfun v4
Subtank mini
lemo v2(most airflow, must use with low mg juices)
aerotank v2(too pricey, skip up to subtank)

Wouldnt say best for flavor but still good but the easiest to work on is the subtank mini v2. With the decent size deck single coil and giant juice holes makes coil/wick super easy. Def less is more on wick also always bunny ear the tips.

Would be easier to put it this way imho from using these extensively

Billow v2; flavor is ok but more of a vapor maker
Aquav2 best flavor from anything I've tried in RTA
Kayfun v4 good flavor ok vapor
Squape r better flavor than the kayfun 4 not as good on vapor
Taifun v2 awesome flavor almost as good as the aqua2 but could use more vapor
Silverplay..ok flavor and ok vapor
Orchid v2 and v6- ok flavor and ok vapor
Lemo n lemo 2.better than average
Erlkoenigin- great flavor and great vapor better than taifun still just shy of aqua
Erlprinz-great flavor and great vapor better than taifun still just shy of aqua
Monster kayfun(528 customs) vape is similar to a - kayfun 4 with a little more vapor and warmer vape
Cthulo2- can tell ya this weekend

Edit: have not used nor do I own a goblin or goliath

Better vapor than the kayfun 4 by far, not as much as the billow though, still a lung hit.
The aqua se is supposed to have as much flavor but more vapor than the v2; however, I've still not used the aqua se.

What are you using now? what do you like? What do you not like?

I have been a billow fan since the get go and find their nano versions have the best all around flavor and just enough draw to lung hit with a tad of resistance. The V 2's are a nie uprade and I never have leak issues or dry hits

I tried the same build in the Mini Goblin - same wattage , same juice and the billow gives a more dense creamy vape where the Goblin is a bit sweeter. Both work best with the right wicking techniques that are slightly different.

I really like the Goliath V2 (I wonder about the V1...might get it at some point). It's my favorite, although it has a couple of less than desirable features but it's okay with me. Otherwise, I only have a Lemo V2, Subtank Mini V1 and V2, and Triton (worst tank - the RBA is a disgrace), and an Orchid V6 on the way. The Goliath has lots of air flow, least restrictive out of all my tanks. It's a dual coil deck with the option to plug one hole for single coil use. I've read of where people have problems with dry hits but once you know how to wick it, it won't fail (it's not hard at all, and get it once and you got it for good). It produces tons of vapor and, in my opinion, taste is outstanding. It does have a major con, though, and that's trying to fill it. It's bottom fill with two ports. You must use a needle tipped bottle in order to inject the juice between the glass and chimney or else it will regurgitate out of the fill ports and you will hate the tank. It also has a juice flow control but I leave it wide open with high VG...perhaps with more PG it would be useful. The Lemo V2 is the most restrictive out of all my tanks as far as air flow, but my second favorite, hands down. The Triton looks nice, like a beast, but it's the worst out of all my tanks. doesn't compare with the Goliath or Lemo. The RBA for the Triton is an absolute joke. Maybe the second version will be worthy. The Subtank Mini V2 has more air flow than V1 and included a better RBA option with larger juice holes - the V1 was just about useless with VG unless you drill out some holes. Wick the Subtank Mini V2 RBA right and it won't leak although it tends to gurgle and spit easier than my other tanks. I've come to find I prefer the vacuum, bottom feeding tanks, like the Goliath and Lemo. Can't wait to get the Orchid V6 - cheap, too!

UPDATE: thanks to some simple advice, filling the Goliath is not a problem. Tilt it on it's side, with one fill port on the bottom, and using a needle tipped bottle or syringe, inject juice in to the bottom fill port. I still pushed the needle into the tank, close to the narrow gap between the chimney and glass. Thanks Otto Dafe for a solution.

the best rebuildable tank for flavor is...a genny.

I've been eyeballing a "genny"... I don't quite understand how it works, yet. Is that more for mouth to lung?

no not neccessarily.....alot of people especially it seems european genheads like to do mough to lung with small airholes, but other people open up their arflows a little and do lung hits, I prefer lung hits.

accomplishing the correct wicking for a full lung hit on a genny is......challenging. shit, just accomplishing a regularly wicked genny (small air hole, MTL) is difficult for a novice. with enough practice you can wick and coil a genny in the traditional manner easily, but go into the whole endeavor with a lot of time and patience. and more patience. might want to also do some yoga and meditation so you dont pull your hair out and throw the genny through the window lol. but seriously, gennys really are fantastic for flavor- unbeatable. leaps and bounds ahead of cotton/fibrous wicks. i find that spaced coils win out on gennys as compared to compressed coils. you want to heat the most of the exposed portion of the wick, not just a small area due to the way gennys wick- which is by capillary action, not a saturated wick like cotton. the juice only flows over the wick for the most part and doesnt really saturate- which is a big contributor to why it tastes so good. that and the fact that the wick imparts no flavor whatsoever compared to cotton and other fibrous wicks that do.

Interesting. I felt that way about filling the Goliath; how could such great thought and attention to detail go into designing a fantastic tank only to have the most ridiculous filling method? Never tried SS mesh but why not? Thanks for the info.

but anyway, back on topic- my favorite tank for flavor (and vapor) is the Aromamizer RDTA. it kicks major ass. monstrous amounts of air (that can be controlled/restricted) and a brand new way of wicking that allows for a shitload of juice flow, pumping out crazy good flavor.

Another vote for Goliath v2. I bought a Billow thinking it would be basically the same thing, but there's just something special about the Goliath.

I haven't had a problem filling it provided that I always tilt it as much as possible towards the juice slot I am filling into. I hope that made sense.

It vapes nice dense clouds with Rips specified single coil build. Just picked one up a couple of days ago. However, I will be tearing it apart again to try get the last of the machine oil taste out of it.

Aww man I want one so bad but it is too expensive for me. I don't think I can get a clone for it either because Chinese will use some shitty plastic. I hope Haze sells replacement plastic parts because that would be great

Wow. don't I feel somewhat incompetent o_O. I followed your advice on filling and damn sure enough I had no issues. Now that I think about it, it makes perfect sense. The Goliath is now a beast all the way around. Thanks a lot, man

The basic variable is the length and width of the chimney, size of chamber, and concentration of airflow. Put those variables together just the way you like, and that will be the best rebuildable atomizer you can get.

Ummmm....not sure what info you want for details.
But I'm still tinkering ...mso far single coil is kickin ads for tc, plenty of vapor, airflow flavor I can't say yet, still on the first build, dual coil deck definitely takes the vapor edge single coil has the favor edge

Tell me more please...

sure thing. best way to show you is through a diagram. check this out:

201591514049309.jpg

dang. that got shrunk way down. check it out here:
http://www.steamcrave.com/products_xq.asp?id=54

essentially whats happening is a new air flow system where the air is sucked in right at the coil level, exactly like an RDA. the tank portion has channels that are like tunnels right through the tank, laterally. you can look through the air holes and view your coil.
and the liquid feed system is a new development too. instead of juice running up small channels like an orchid, goblin, goliath, etc, youve got an entire open plane that you wick just hangs over and dips into. each draw, a flume of juice comes up from the bottom of the deck, completely saturating your wick.
its hard to describe but it really is revolutionary. you can crank this puppy up way high on the wattage and the wick just keeps champing due to the design. you can see multitudes of big air bubbles escaping as you wick dries and becomes saturated again instantly.
its like no tank ive ever vaped in my 4 years of vaping.
its like a big dripper without having to manually press the plunger.
its like a bottom feeder without having to squonk.
its like an orchid/zeph/goliath/goblin/anything-kayfun-style with more air and a faster liquid-feed
unreal.
there will probably be clones soon, and me being a clone guy, i almost waited. but i decided to take the "authentic plunge" and am so happy i did. its only $35 shipped if you take advantage of their coupon code opportunities explained on their site.

Ya, I've been through the site. It does look interesting. I'm still unclear on the difference between the Tank and the RDTA.
They're built the same? with the same design? They both take coil heads?

I checked 'em out a month ago but I left the site without buying 'cause I hate not understanding clearly.

So what is the difference? ...any difference in the wicking mechanics?
IOW, Why are there 2 products at all? o_O
Who sells the 3ml versions?
Why aren't they being sold by vendors I've heard of?
I think the bellus is the knock off version from what iv read

@UnderJojoVaping...certainly, I usually run a 24g, 5 wrap @ 2.5mm, which comes in at 0.9-1.0Ω. I try not to go below that given the restrictive air flow, and it runs great at 22-25W.
Thanks a lot Bob. I don't have a 24g right now, but I'll get soon and I'll do exactly as you sayed. I tell you back my experience.

the difference between the steam crave rdta and the tank is that the tank takes replaceable pre-built coils and the rdta does not- its just a dual coil rebuildable. i have the rdta, i should have been more clear in my post. other than the tank taking pre-built coils, i dont know how the design is different as i never looked into the tank. but i did just take a quick look and it appears very similar. the OCC coils for the tank look almost exactly how you'd build a coil in the RDTA. only difference is some housing around the coil, possibly reducing air flow. but let me tell you- this tank is not lacking on air flow! its incredibly airy in its wide open position. i keep mine no more than half way open on the air and its breezy as fuck.

there is one other vendor that i know of that is selling the new steam crave items, other than steam crave themselves. its 3avape. they had a code for % off or free shipping or both i cant recall but i remember it being slightly less expensive from steam crave. i dont know why more places arent selling them. it does seem weird. could be that steam crave is being ultra selective on who they sell to. or 3avape could be part of their family. idk. what i do know is that i am in love with this rdta.

Ive pretty much decided on trying the steam crave, I've spent more for less.
The pumping motion sort of bothered me at first; but, who am I kidding? Ive been pumping with that motion since puberty.
