Series box mod diagram help

I have been looking for hours and can not seem to find a good series box diagram for the wiring. I just want to make sure I am getting the right length wire and placing it correctly. All the ones I have found have a mosfet but for now I need a diagram without one. Can anyone help?

I think it's because most people are using MOSFET's in both series and parallel builds so they don't have to use high current switches.
