So all day ipv4s was working fine no issues. Tonight all of a sudden I'm hitting fire and nothing. I look at screen it says dry coil no juice. Tank is full. So I hit again and it says same thing. I turn off the mod and then I get check atomizer. I'm like wtf. So I take the uwell crown off check the 510 pin give a slight turn and hit ok after that two times. Then again check atomizer and dry coil no juice. So I take the crown apart take coil out then screw it back in tight pulled the pin slightly on the crown. It's hitting ok now. Batteries are fresh just put them in so I doubt it's that. Anyone know what's going on. Is the mod on its way out. I wouldn't know why it's not good it's 2 3 months old and I only use it on my days off from work. Any ways to fix this issue.

Have you tried another tank or RDA?
Are you in TC mode with ni200 coil?
I don't have the V4s but I do have two IPV4's that have the crown tanks with the .25 coils... No problems at all..
So I'm thinking it's not the mod but maybe your coil in the crown...just a thought..

I would try another tank and see if it fires OK..if so I would try a new Ni200 coil in the Crown..it could be a bad coil..just sayin

i doubt its the mod.
TC is temperamental
it is more likely an issue with the coil or the crowns 510 connection.

do you still have your d2 to test the crown on it?

I had the same thing happen with my IPV3Li the other day. I am using an OBS T-VCT tank with the TC coil in it. I tried taking a needle and poking at the wick through the juice holes in the coil and that helped some, but still acted up if I took 4-5 long hits back to back. I changed juice and the problem went away. Funny thing is both juices are 70/30 VG/PG ratio so that shouldn't be the issue. I'm guessing the one that acted up might be a little more VG heavy than stated. Anyway, will try the problem juice again after I change the coil out next time to see if it acts up with a new coil.
I hope you get this figured out, and it doesn't turn out to be a problem with your mod.

As the IPV3Li is mine. Like I said, it's only happened once, with that one particular juice. Aside from that, it's worked flawlessly.

I here you man. This mod gets used lightly only on days off when i just wanna sit and binge watch Netflix that's it. My d2 is the all day vape. Knock on wood I hope that one stays nice

I carry mine everywhere I go. I even keep it in my pocket at work. I'm gonna buy at least one more to keep at home and not subject them to as much wear and tear. Also looking at the D2 as a possible work vape replacement as it's way more compact.

How's the ambient temperature?
I'm having that with my D2 TFV4 this morning. Not a full tank. I was wondering if that affected the TC or maybe the viscosity.

Looks like on mine the wick has compacted away from the coil on one side.

Maybe you have a hot spot?

Also try cleaning the 510 with alcohol and a q-tip. Always a good thing to do, but essential for tc.
