@builderbob thanks again! I've spent the greater part of a week looking for a replacement for a decent price and then I would have to ask my husband if I can get it cause he is the bread winner so everything has to be done through him so it probably would have been a few weeks more at least before I would have been able to replace it myself and then only if he was feeling generous cause he just doesn't get the needing more than one mod and one tank thing! Anyhow I am so grateful to you for sending it to me and I will let you know when it arrives!!!

Hey guys and gals, I've been googling different stuff about the Cherry Bomber like I do all the time but this time I got stuck on the subject of batteries. While I know that the best are the Sony or LG, what is wrong with the Purple Efest?
Another question that I couldn't find the answer to... do you use flat top or the nipple version? (Sorry, didn't know what the technical word is for that) :)

The problem with Efest (and any seller that isn't Sony, LG or Samsung) is that they don't manufacture batteries - they re-wrap "seconds," or cells that didn't pass quality control and therefore the manufacturer refuses to put their name on them. These re-wrappers usually pull fake specs out of thin air to make people believe they're being safe when in fact they may not be. Sonys are subject to a lot of counterfeiting, so I stick to Samsung and LG - I'd search out legit Sonys if I was going stupid sub-ohm (less than 0.2 resistance on a single battery), but I don't play that game.

Most mods are at home with flat-top, not button-top or nipple-top (depending on your vernacular) battery styles.

Effest batteries are dangerous their rewraps that have amperage currebts mislabled to show their higher then what they are and u never know what u have unless u unwrap then and do some investigation

I've still got 4 of the purple efest 35A batteries in steady rotation running kayfun V4's around 0.6ohms on mechs. I've got no complaints. I'm really liking the yellow MXJO 35A batteries too. They seem to last a good long time in parallel boxes.

Batteries really only become important when building low. Most IMR batteries will handle resistances above 1 ohm without problems. 1 ohm at 4.2 V is only 4 amps.

So even though the Efest come from a reliable b&m in my city I shouldn't trust them? I don't want you to think that I'm not listening to y'all, I'm just trying to make sure. Like, I feel like I should call my friend that manages the b&m and try to convince her that the batteries that she sells and uses might explode. That's how worried I am right now!

Calm down...

Even top of the line Sony, Samsung, and LG batteries can vent if mishandled.

What do you run on them?

Good explanation! It depends what you are running on the battery. First off is it regulated? If so you are good.

Those are the next batteries I want to try. I have read good reviews on them, and they will suit my needs well.

I dont. I'm always looking up stuff about the Cherry Bomber and I got stuck on the battery info today. My friend that manages The Vapor Girl here uses and sells these. I'm not sure about all of her setups but 1 of them is the high wattage Seigeli (I'm not sure exactly what wattage. Well over 100w for sure). I'm scared for her now.

That comes back to application. The Sigelei is fine as its regulated. The Cherry Bomber will be ok as long as it's used correctly.

The cherry bomber original model will auto fire. Try to put batteries in it and then touch the top part with any metal don't have to touch the fire button or anything it will start right up when your keys are on it. So it is a nice looking and working mod, but if you get one, be mindful some have that flaw. The clones which she is most likely dealing with are safer i hear.

Hey everyone, hope you guys are doing great. I can't wait to see some movement on the box. Maybe that is why it got kind of quiet in here.

Only the bare metal 1 would autofire

I thought all the real cherry bombers were either aluminium or copper though. If its a clone I think its all good. Think they added delrin or something. IDK only tried the original one

Hey tina if it makes you feel any better i have been using e-fest batteries for about a year now with no problems. Started with the tube mods down to about a half ohm was as low as I would go. Don't work yourself into a frenzy just be safe when building and you should be ok.

There is bare metal and painted 1s they all have insulators its the contact of the bare metal to tge atty that causes the autofire cuz the bodies of mech mods are technically the negitive end of the power loop

Alot of people have had good luck using effest not me my batteries almost vented cuz 1 of their batteries was a 10amp rewrap but in most cases online stores sell effest batteries for around $9 each where at the same stores u can buy the new samsung 25rs (which rock by the way) for all of $5.50 each ill stick with buying known safe batteries from a known vendor for cheaper rather then paying more just to play russian roulette with effest batteries

I envy you in that case. If I have become totally addicted to coffee in the last 4 or 5 years. Before that never touched the stuff, but now i get a freaking headache if I got a day without a cup. I do limit myself to one cup, but sometimes it is bigger than other times

So I got this when I got an order of cotton it has become my second favorite tool in building esp when using rayon because you don't have to touch the rayon as much. Basically it's like a needle threader on steroids. I bought all the stuff to make them if anyone is interested let me know. It has made wicking coils so much easier.
